Guest bdolo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I was just wondering what everybody thought about who should have a title run within the next year. I would like to the see the following: Jericho win back the title this monday, I don't hate HHH, but he really needs to get in better shape if he is going to be in the main event. As far as Jericho having the title, I can't remember anybody in a long time who lives up the fact that they have the titles then jericho, every title holder since foley who has had the title harldy mentions the obvious fact that they are the title holder making them the best in the company. but as far as who else should hold the title within the next year I would like to see some of the following: Angle: He is only the hardest worker they have now and gets the biggest heel heat, they need to tweak him image though to make him seem more dangerous. RVD: I know it is not going to happen due to backstage politics, but I guess Vince just does'nt want to make money anymore becasue if he wants to build new superstars why not start here. undertaker: I do not like undertaker but maybe if they give him the title one more time he would finnaly retire so we would'nt have to watch his boring mathces. hogan: same as undertaker
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 25, 2002 OK, you need to keep the title far away from Taker and Hogan. At least with Trips, there is a chance he may improve his ringwork. I would not be offended at all if Angle or Jericho had an extended run. As for RVD, I wouldn't mind him as champ if there was a logical storyline and proper build for an RVD run. Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I don't think UT will get a run, but I have a horrible feeling Hogan might. I'd give HHH a month or so to try and improve, and if he's still failing, maybe have Angle or Jericho take the title.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 God if they put the title on Hogan, its over like i said in another post if hogan becomes WWF champion its the old WCW all over again
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 It's becoming more likely the longer Hogan stays as over as he is...hopefully soon the nostalgia and novelty will wear off. Also, he'd have to prove himself a master of the political game to get the title away from HHH at the moment.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Who knows,if HHH breaks it off with Steph and Hogan starts banging her we could see Hulkamania run wild on the WWF title again, but with RAW monday I see his crowd response wearing off ever so slightly
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Ewww, just got a mental picture of Hogan and Steph that I did *not* need!
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 In the next big WWF angle,Hogan runs wild on Stephanie McMahon! lol when i say things like that mental block completely wipes out images
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I wouldn't put it past him - didn't he steal Torrie away from Kidman during their WCW feud? Or am I imagining that?!
Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I say let Triple H hold it for a really long time. If he holds it till say the PPV after the next mania' no one will ever think that he will lose it. If he starts putting on good matches again, and turns heel, I'm all for it. I am a big fan of lengthy title reigns. Especially, when it gets to the point where you never know when they will lose it. Kindof like RVD's TV title in ECW. Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I wouldn't put it past him - didn't he steal Torrie away from Kidman during their WCW feud? Or am I imagining that?! He tried, and it got Kidman pissed or so thats what they say
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 If I was with Torrie and Hogan even tried to touch her, I'd be pretty pissed!
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Hogan's a perv,I heard that he went as far as to suggest that Torrie turn on Kidamn so she could be his valet, thus she could be near him alot,Kidman said no
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Didn't Hogan force a kiss on Torrie during a match, and she acted as if she liked it?
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 yea that happened too i believe
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I say let Triple H hold it for a really long time. If he holds it till say the PPV after the next mania' no one will ever think that he will lose it. And the WWF will go under with an unover, horrible champion
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 I hate Hogan even more for that Anyway, going back on topic, I really hope Jericho gets another run soon, even if its just a short one to make sure he doesn't slip back into the midcard.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Maybe tonight he will get that chance, but i doubt it it should be him and HHH at backlash its only fair that he gets another run doesn't that usually happen, one guy loses it and then gets another shot and gets the win at the rematch? Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 It should definetly be HHH v Y2J at Backlash, preferably without Steph involved.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 25, 2002 Triple H for a couple of months. Jericho, Angle, Benoit,RVD possibly even Lesnar if built properly. But only one or two of them. Not UT, Hogan, Nash, any McMahon, Austin, Rock if he's going to be off making movies otherwise fine.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 25, 2002 If Benoit comes back strong and is over, he could have his best chance yet at becoming WWF champion - Rock won't get it due to movies, Austin has only just been champ, Angle needs surgery and others are too old or not over enough.
