Guest FeArHaVoC Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I thought Confidential was suppose to be another show with more info about Elizabeth's story? Why is it the same show again from last week? Confidential airs every Saturday night at 11/10 CT on the new TNN. This week, Confidential takes a look back at the life and career of Miss Elizabeth. Learn about the events that led to her untimely death and hear comments from Vince and Stephanie McMahon and Hulk Hogan about the original Diva who captured our hearts. Also: Josh Mathews interviews John Cena and gets his take on a variety of off-beat topics. Tag along as Sable, Rey Mysterio, and Dawn Marie visit the USS Vellagulf in Norfolk, Va. Jesse "The Body" Ventura calls himself the greatest color commentator in wrestling history. This week, the former governor of Minnesota gives proof to back it up. Rhyno requests a classic from the vault: the 1992 SummerSlam match at Wembly Stadium featuring the British Bulldog against Bret Hart. Check it out this Saturday night at 11/10 CT on TNN!

The preview must not have been updated I guess.
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Well above the preview it says "May 17 Confidential". Hey, I'll take a night off any time...
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Zap2It is also listing the show as a rerun, so I would imagine that's what it will be. Generally they air a rerun during a holiday weekend as well, so we will have to see what's going on next week, which marks the beginning of the show's second year.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 This is the crap I hate about WWE. The attitude of "Well, since Elizabeth's story receive such a high rating last week, lets repeat the show and milk her death for everything she's worth!" Bastards
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 They're going to milk every drop out of this one.
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Are from the vault matches complete or are they clipped?
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 You know what? If people want to see the Elizabeth segment again, then there is no reason for them not to reair the episode. If the demand is there, why not meet it?
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Are from the vault matches complete or are they clipped? Hart-Bulldog was 7:10, the beginning and end of the match was shown. Hennig-Ventura was complete. Snuka-Backlund was Joined in Progress.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 I just came into the thread to make sure we had the "FUCK THOSE BASTARDS BLAH BLAH BLAH" post that's becoming obligatory in any thread or discussion of Liz or Confidential. Gotta make sure we properly play our broken records again and again. Looks like we do. Okay, carry on then.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 FUCK, it's a new Confidential and I didn't bother recording. Oh well.
Guest Kingpk Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 There will be features on: - WWE's tour of the UK - Freddie Blasse - Jesse Ventura - Hogan vs. Andre - Booker T and more on Liz.
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Oh well... looks like I have some work ahead of me after all.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 STEVIE RAY??? GOD DAMNIT! Why didn't I record this!!
Guest LatinoHeat Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Texas...It's like a whole other country.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 BOOKER LIVED IN SOUTH PARK! ...in Texas.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 They are really brothers? I thought they were just really good friends.
Guest Retro Rob Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 I'm not watching right now, but did they mention which SuperStar picked Hogan-Andre as the From the Vault match? It baffles me as to why they would air that match AGAIN, considering they showed it on the Confidential leading up to WrestleMania.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Seeing Hogan slam Andre still gives me goosebumps.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 The WWE are real jerks. They were trying to contact Lex Luger numerous times for his comments, but he has declined....YEAH NO SHIT. What insensitive pricks. He just watched his girlfriend die and now he's looking at a prison term. His emotions were exploited by WWE and now they have the audacity to claim they asked him to appear on their show?!?!?! God, I know Luger deserves a lot of what he's getting but seriously WWE are insensitive assholes...

But you know how Vince thinks. Its ok to do anything for ratings. Remember Katie Vick? Of course that didn't get ratings but who would have guessed that...well except people who aren't retarded
