Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 18, 2003 I was thinking about Nathan Jones...the whole thing about him being so horrible even WWE won't let him wrestle much... Anyone remember Brakkus? I think around 1995-1996 they were giving him hype packages where he was looking badass, and had an impressive physique. I wasn't that impressed because even then I kinda understood that most guys like that weren't very good. I think he did a run in or two on Raw and...I think that was it. I heard it was because of his complete lack of skill, but I'm not sure since I wasn't on the net at the time (however, my cousins were, and I think they mentioned something like that). From a Rajah column: "He was German and the WWF had hoped that he would make it big on their roster, owing to the physique he possessed. And from a translated page on WWF crap: "Brakkus: The athlete had to be the portacolori German in the WWF. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted May 18, 2003 Yeah he was let go after he lost in the Brawl for All. and that was the first time we had seen him in any kind of fight, but still I think there was quite a while between the Brakkus vignettes and his unheralded fight in the BFA (the commentators didn't make a big deal about him at all) so yeah it does seem like a Nathan Jones case, hype him up like crazy before realizing that he can't work at ALL Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
