Guest Anglesault Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 but ask them to grab a top wrist lock and they look at you like you've got 2 heads...like they don't even know what that is What about the Sleeper, Trips! Don't forget about the Sleeper!
Guest JRE Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 JRE: Yeah, HHH's ring work is just making fans swarm to the arenas. I feel so dirty now...Benoit, Angle, the Guerreros, etc are just so lacking in those fundamentals. Good thing that HHH is having this program with that awesome worker Kevin Nash, where he's expected to drop the belt to him. Anyway you slice it, HHH is full of shit. If he starts whipping out some **** matches and his opinion on working can hold more weight. Even the ones he had were arguably carry jobs by his opponent in most cases. If he's talking about, say, RVD, I have a crazy idea--have him learn!! Oh..wait...then he wouldn't have an excuse to have him stuck in the midcard. Whoa whoa whoa......you're addressing me? I just quoted Triple H. The only time talked was when I was annoyed by several typical smartass "flip" comments in a row.

Guest Anglesault Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 I am happy that Trips was around to explain that the reason that Eddy doesn't do three minute sleeper holds is because Eddy doesn't know how they are done.
Guest the pinjockey Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 So does that mean Big Show and Kane are great workers since they had a match with a three minute choke?

Remember that HHH was giving lectures on how to work to wrestlers.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 So does that mean Big Show and Kane are great workers since they had a match with a three minute choke? The choke wasn't properly executed.
Guest Sakura Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Wouldn't it make more sense to wrestle to please the "internet kids" than Crips?
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Right now, they're pretty much down to the Internet crowd that Cripple H despises so much. And if people are supposed to stand out to make an impact, why is everyone made to wrestle the same style ?
Guest CanadianChick Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 Man, HHH doesn't seem to like high-flyers too much, does he? But he likes guys who can work all around, yet the most all around worker, Jericho, isn't exactly in the best of positions with the company while Nash and Goldberg, who only work one style themselves(brawling) are in the main events. If I think about this any harder, my head might explode.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 the sheer logistics of HHH calling someone else a bad worker make me dizzy. I'll just watch Nitro tommorow rather than be subjected to 70 minutes of skits and 20 minutes of top wristlocks. oh wait...
