Guest Max Danger Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I won't be picking any of those up right away, but the ones I'll eventually get for sure are 25th Hour and Adaptation.
Guest PORNFAQ Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Miller's Crossing and Barton Fink? w00t~! 25th Hour was good (I saw in theater) and I'm sure I'll buy Adaptation as well. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the Snatch 3-pack consists of? And do rappers do anything besides smoke weed and make quasi-pornos nowadays? Girls Gone Wild "Doggystyle" and Treach's Naturally Naughty Porno Movie XXX have no business seeing a DVD release. I have to find a way to get rid of my Sex and the City Season 1 to buy the bundle now. This is the set and opportunity I've been waiting for.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Killjoy 2? I swear to God that's seen a release already... maybe it was just in the rental market, because I've rented it on DVD before. Who knows though, what with all Full Moon (erm, excuse me, "Shadow Entertainment") has been up to as of late, since I know Bleed (and maybe Speck too, haven't seen that one [or any other new DTV titles] now that I use Netflix) has been rental-only for a while. And you mentioned the Something Weird titles! I love you El Satanico. More than words can express. Personally, I'm looking forward to Mondo Bizarro/Mondo Freudo, since I've never seen a mondo film before, so I'll definitely check that out somewhere down the line (ahh, to be young and broke... damn you Anthony Burgess, Jigoku & Suicide Club!). I wouldn't mind checking out the Goldilocks & The Three Bares/Sinderella & The Golden Bra double-feature or Dr. Jekyll & Mistress Hyde either, because those nudie cuties are from people that are capable of such (curse you Barry Mahon! curse you and your black heart!). One title Amazon doesn't have though, that Fangoria does (maybe it got delayed?) is Full Moon's Dark Walker, which sucks because as a Danny Draven mark I was looking forward to it (hopefully it would break his string of "nice direction/style but in a shitty movie" projects for Full Moon). Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Can anyone enlighten me as to what the Snatch 3-pack consists of? Snatch 3 pack = Snatch, Memento and Dogma At least they could've packaged movies with a common theme.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 19, 2003 And you mentioned the Something Weird titles! I love you El Satanico. More than words can express. Of course I'd mention them... I care about giving recognition to the b movies, unlike the other guys that post new DVD releases.

Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Wow out of all those I would only consider picking up Jackie Chan's Project A2.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Evenflow, seeing as how you're great with the DTV flicks, you might want to check out a site I write for, FlicksXXXPosed.com. I've only reviewed a few DTV titles so far, but I have a bunch of screeners that I'm going to continually review, coming from all different genres. The piece of crap that is Killjoy 2 was released a while ago. Ful... Shadow Entertainment is completly fucked up, and at them being stupid enough to let their domain name expire. And I'll be picking up Hollywood Scream Queen Hot Tub Party.
Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted May 20, 2003 You forgot the Dances With Wolves: SE, which I'll be getting. Maybe the Love Bug: SE as well.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 20, 2003 I wish Adaptation wasn't "bare bones". I wonder if they'll release an SE or something one day of it.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 20, 2003 This is the super-bit version of Adaption and I believe they usually release a different version a few months or so later.

Guest starvenger Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Fuck all that noise. Fraiser (Season 1) comes out this week! I swear I soon as I get a job that will be mine. Doesn't Cheers come out this week as well? Fuck, Kelsey Grammer has been playing Frasier for like 18 years now. Insane... I've got Dark Angel and Star Trek Nemesis on order from Best Buy. Speaking of which, does anyone know if you can get OnePass miles from Best Buy by purchasing in store instead of online? That's pretty much the only reason why I'm buying online right now... Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 20, 2003 This is the super-bit version of Adaption and I believe they usually release a different version a few months or so later. I dunno, I've yet to see a non-Superbit edition of Panic Room (although admittedly I'm not looking very hard). They're probably going to release an edition of Adaptation with special features later, and if not, they should've at least done like the upcoming Punch Drunk Love and made it a 2-discer: one with Superbit and the other with special features.
