Guest TheGame2705 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 I'm writing a review of the match but as of right now it seems as if TNA can't bring the goods in a ladder match.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 You don't like anything. We don't care anymore. Someone could come up to you and say here is a big pile of gold and you'd respond "No...I don't like that". Please don't waste your time writing a review as we won't be wasting the time reading it. Thank you.
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 Actually, I'm kind of interested to see how much mindless NWA-TNA hatred can possibly be crammed into the review.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 If you had read the other review you'd have read that I liked the match and that Laz agreed with me. Funny things work BPS, you bitch and complain about RVD and the WWE and that's supposed to be alright but God forbid someone say a bad thing about your precious TNA.
Guest Lemon Drop Kid Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 I find it kind of interesting that you randomly choose single matches to write reviews of. I personally thought the match was supercool. Loved AJ pulling out Raven's own offense, and using him as a foot rest, and I'm always a sucker for the "guy gets battered and bloodied but comes out on top" type of thing.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 I will admit the ending with the bloody Raven coming out on top was cool. It worked really well in his "destiny" storyline.
Guest Morality Check Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 There is another point-of-view out there, you know. If we watched NWA-TNA and _all_ we heard were good things about it, good opinions about it, that's only half the story. However, if people challenge the greatness the product claims to have -- then not only does it prove you're not a mark and you're a think-for-yourself type person, but through challenging something and thinking something is bad sometimes, it makes it better. Without bad, good can't exist because nothing is really 'good.' Good things are only good _compared_ to the bad. (Meaning, if no bad happened, ever, there would be no such thing a good because there's no bad to compare it to.) With that being said, write the friggin' review and go on pages and pages about how you hated the match. Hell, I'll read it, because I know that sometimes being negitive is better than being positive. - Marc That is all.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 I think you only hear good things about TNA because it's obvious that they CARE ABOUT THEIR FANBASE. The only time the fans haven't truly dictated, overall, what's on the show was when Styles and Raven failed to take the title away from JJ, but there's other stories behind it (NWA council, contracts, etc.). Game, which match did I agree with you on? The 3-Way Ladder?
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 Oh. Yes...that much sucked. So did the 3-Way Ladder.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 I think you only hear good things about TNA because it's obvious that they CARE ABOUT THEIR FANBASE. I don't know, those "From The Inside" columns sound more and more like ye olde bullshit "Ross Reports" as the weeks go by.
Guest bob_barron Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I don't get the whole- You can criticise WWE all you want but TNA is off limits. Just because Game's opinion is negative doesn't make it less valid. I mean bps- you're one of the most negative when it comes to WWE folder
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Raven vs. Styles ladder match = one of the best NWA TNA matches ever!!!!
