Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Alright, today is the second time I had to reinstall windows in about, 2 weeks. I made an error, and the only way I figured out I could fix it, was reinstalling windows. Anyway, when I first reinstalled it, there was no sound, and it took me about a week to somehow fixing it without even knowing how (it just came on from out of nowhere.) So now, once again, there is no sound. I know it has something to do with my Audio Device, which I am trying to know how to change (it says there is none, but I know there is.) I am not a great computer wiz, so can anyone help me out here?
Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted May 19, 2003 In the control panel under sounds and audio devices there are a few tabs that have pop down menus where you can pick the sound card that you are using. I had a built in sound card and then upgraded to a sound blaster, and i had to manually select the sb in the menus. I hope this helps somewhat.
