Guest Eagan469 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 This looks interesting, so what the hell.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 Sounds a helluva more entertaining than RAW tonight. SWEATHOGS REUNITE!
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 "Living Dolls" - there was a "Who's The Boss?" spinoff starring Halle Berry? well I'll be damned...
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 "Living Dolls" - there was a "Who's The Boss?" spinoff starring Halle Berry? well I'll be damned... Oh, THAT'S what it was called! That's been bugging me. It had Leah Remini from King Of Queens in it as well.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 I'm watching it. I wish they would do more close-ups and spend more time with the reunited casts and older stars. You couldn't get a good look at the Brady Bunch or Kotter casts. The clips have been good so far and the bit with Damon Wayans and Leave It to Beaver was funny.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 Hey did anyone remember on NBC's 50th anniversary show, was there ANY mention of SNME
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I watched all of NBC's anniversary show and there was very little mention of any of NBC's late night programming. Primarily because they had recently done a special about NBC late night. However, none mentioned anything about wrestling or SNME from what I remember.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I'm not surprised, but still SNME was a big part of NBC's late night programming in the late 80's
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I will *mark* if they play the old TGIF music "It's Friday night! and the moon is bright! gonna have some fun, show em' how it's done, TGIF - just keep it right here!"
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 BTW - ABC *is* confirmed to be bringing back TGIF this fall
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I surprised the Columbo bit was pretty eh. They didn't really hit any of his trademark bits and made him come off pretty stupid. The trick with Columbo was that he seemed stupid, but was a shrewd man. All right, these are my favorite shows right here. Cops and detectives.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 Notice no hint of Baretta in the cops montage.
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 WrestlingDeacon - is that the same Samantha Fox in your sig that sang "I Only Wanna Be With You"?
Guest Dmann2000 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I was expecting it to be MacGuyver instead of Columbo Catwoman was Miss America?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 Yeah, that's how Lee Meriwether got into acting. She was the most famous Miss America for years and built an acting career off of it.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 The preview they just aired for all the new shows coming on next year looked horrible. Will ABC make another 50? Fuck, Dick Clark probably will.
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 There you go TGIF tribute and I missed it - FUCK
Guest treble charged Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 Did I miss the Family Matters cast reunion?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 The Family Matters Reunion consisted of four people. Jaleel White, Reginald Vel Johnson, Laura and the aunt.
