I mean, I never heard of HHH going home cause he didn't like jobbing or the "direction" of his character. This is what "supposedly" Austin did, more or less. (I still think this is a work btw by Austin/WWF, we'll see). Now, that was my point originally, that *IF* it's a shoot and Austin went home, it's sounds a lot like what Hogan was accused of in WCW, refusing to job or going home if he didn't get his way. Ergo, I make a joke about Austin being killed by his own Ego. If this is a shoot and Austin holds out against the WWF, My post may be prophetic. Then all of you people will owe me a beer! Now, I have been watching wrestling since I fell out of my mother. 1969 to be exact. I am a Smart Mark, and my friends are Smart Marks. I watched Ric Flair and Roddy Piper go at it in front of like 200 people in the NWA in like 1980. I was there for more NWA taping for Saturday afternoon wrestling programs than I could count. I watched Big John Stud stick a guys feet into the f'n lights above him, administering one hell of a suplex to the jobber. I witnessed more than a lot of you people will ever know about wrestling. My mom's best friend dated Johhny Weaver (you know, the inventor of the Sleeper hold) To say I'm here to make fun of you people for being smarks or wrestling fans is plain silly. I am one of you. BUT I don't take it more seriuosly than it should be taken. As a matter of fact, I would take it more seriously if "real wrestling" had not been killed off and replaced with "I love Lucy" aka Steph McMahon. I'm not claiming to be a smarter Mark than any of you and there are probably some here older than me. BUT never challenge my love or Passion for this great OLD SPORT, we call Pro Wrestling. You sir have insulted me! and I won't lay down for that kind of lamer attitude! Now that is an awesome post! That's the kinda shiznit we need around here. I guess different people have different lines that will set them off and you set off a lot of people by talking about someone dying. Now how would you feel if Steve Austin drove his monster truck to the ring tonight to break up the draft and he swerves to avoid hitting Lucy the dog, who was drafted third by Vince for Smackdown and he crashed and died? Remember the best thing about Pro wrestling is when, for an instant, you believe. Now if what you said, happened tonight, I would fall off the sofa laughing my ass off! (I spelled it out so that one guy here doesn't have an internet stroke ) I really don't know where this "split" angle is going. But I'm counting on Austin being the wild card. I hope this whole thing is a work, because I couldn't stomach the WWF w/o him. But it would be cool to have them drag this out, with Austin belonging to NO one and making life Hell for "Both" companies. Or, go with Flair, reform the 4 horsemen with Austin/Benoit/Flair and ? and become the "Soprano's of the WWF, just making the McMahons life a living hell! (TAKA,Lombardi, Rikishi, Holly on heat) and make them look good TAKA, Holly and Rikishi. He took a lot of shit after the MSG incident and jobbed to the Warrior in 90 seconds. Austin was on Saturday morning kids TV with Ant & Dec and wouldn't do anything to hurt his image. He quite simply won't work with the mid card and hasn't had to put up with any crap since he lit a fire under the WWF in 97.
