Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 20, 2003 (edited) You know the deal, who are your favorite guys/girls as of right this minute. Who are currently active. And keep the list to 5. Mine. RAW. 1. Chris Jericho...the most over and entertaining heel on RAW right now. Too over for his own good. 2. Hurricane...I didn't think he'd keep up the gimmick this long. But it hasn't gone stale and he's putting on very good matches. 3. Christian...getting more tv time, and now the IC title. I'm glad they're letting him talk more, the crowd hates this guy too much to not have him on. 4. Steve Austin...I know he's not working anymore. But since RAW's got so much shit with Nash and Hunter, it's good to laugh every now and then. 5. Teddy Long...I don't like Rodney Mack, but how can you not love Teddy on the mic? I thought it would go stale quick, but he's such a good talker. Missing the Cut: Ric Flair SMACKDOWN. 1. Spanky...I've been a big fan of this guy for a while. I just get geeked for his matches when I hear his music. 2. Chris Benoit...I don't need to say anything to support my Benoit pick. Almost put him #1, but he's turned into the Smackdown jobber lately. 3. Eddie Guerrero...I hope they keep the belts on him and Yoshi a while, he deserves some kind of push. I miss the mullett though. 4. Roddy Piper...he's still got it. Very entertaining segments, and the leg on Smackdown was just gold. 5. The F.B.I....I love the gimmick that they're serious mobsters now, it's still goofy like ECW, but at least they kick ass now. Missing the cut: John Cena BOTTOM 5 RAW HHH Nash 3 Minute Warning Jim Ross Eric Bischoff SMACKDOWN Albert Big Show Rikishi Torrie Wilson Mr America Edited May 20, 2003 by Youth N Asia
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted May 20, 2003 RAW: Jericho- He is the best heel, not just on RAW but in WWE period, entertaining on the mic and the ring. Christian-Following in Jericho's footsteps, hopefully this is his breakout year but the fact that he is too small means that Vince will send him back to jobber duty. RVD-Great athlete even though he has slowed down big time for a while, either his bad knees are making him change his wrestling style or Vince, also it's time to break him up from Kane the Big Red Anchor. Flair-When you think the man is washed out he pulls out a great performance out of nowhere. Hurricane-If he bulks up some more at least 15 to 20 lbs he could be main event material, he looks like he weight 210lbs, a couple of pounds more of muscle wont hurt him just ask HBK or Y2J . SD: Benoit-nuff said. Eddy-nuff said Cena- Great promos but needs to practice his in-ring skills some more. Rey-Amazing always fun to watch. Spanky-ditto. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Welcome to my top 5 wresters from each brand: RAW 1. Chris Jericho - He was the first undisputed champion for a reason and plus he continually shines every week. 2. RVD - It doesn't matter if it's a single or tag team match he always is entertaining. 3. Christian - He continually gets better, in ring and on the stick. 4. The Hurricane - Always a great wrestler, but after promo's with the Rock he gets more entertaining than he's ever been. 5. Booker T - He is a reason to watch Raw on his own. Smackdown 1. Chris Benoit - I refuse to explain this one...... 2. Brock Lesner - I think he has turned into quite the champion. Especially after Wrestlemania. 3. Eddie Guerrero - Could be at the top of the card if they wanted him to be. 4. Rhyno - Anyone else want him to be a monster heel??? 5. tie - Rey Misterio Jr & John Cena - Hell Rey is entertaining when he is suppost to be injured and Cena will be one of the greatest of all time on the mic, mark my words. Guest Heel In Peril Report post Posted May 20, 2003 As far as personal favorites go: RAW 1. Jericho 2. Booker T 3. Christian 4. RVD 5. Hurricane *Not a lot of really good choices on Raw to begin with. SMACKDOWN 1. Sean O'Haire - It's unfair how lightly they're using him. 2. Chris Benoit - It's fuckin' unfair how they're using him. 3. John Cena - It's fuckin' unfair how they're going to use him. 4. Eddie Guerrero - Wonderful worker in need of a serious character makeover incorporating aspects of his career upto now. This bitch could be champion if done right. 5. Brock Lesnar - Man! The dude's intense! And a damn good worker!

Angle's #1 in a smarks heart...just wondering who fills the void when he's gone. Do you mean Gone permantly? Benoit will always #1 for the smarks...If not Austin when he is on. Oh My List! Raw ------- 1. Chris Jericho -The Total Package (without the Roids). Can do it all, Wrestle, Sell, Interview, Promo, Act. 2. Steve Austin -So What he doesn't wrestle anymore? Still amazingly great as GM. 3. Rob Van Dam -Still fun to watch, and is improving as a speaker 4. Christian -Kinda Apathetic towards the old X but Best character ever (for him) and has been entertaining. 5. Eric Bischoff -A Out of left field choice here but I believe he is the best non-Vince Heel Power head ever and can be funny, nasty, serious...very fun. Missing The Cut: Flair (Lack of him) Smackdown *Not feeling the show now* ask later...

Guest Ram Report post Posted May 20, 2003 RAW Top 5: 1. Christian - He's like Rocky Lite without the stupid ass Rock Concerts. 2. Chris Jericho - It's Jericho. 3. Rob Van Dam - You can't spell "DA BEST EVAR" without R-V-D. And stuff. 4. Austin - He may not be wrestling, but he's fresher than ever and I still can't help but love the guy. 5. Theodore/Teddy Long - C'mon PLAYA. Not a wrestler either, but this guy just rules the mic so much. RAW Bottom 5: 1. 3MW - The three minutes stuff was good at first, but it got stale and so did they. 2. Triple H - Besides politics or any other 'hesaidshesaid' bullcrap, the guy just no longer entertains me. I'd say for him to lose once in a while, but at this point I just want him off my TV...for good. 3. Test - He's so lanky without the pants and hair. His character is crap and I hate his teeth. BOOT! 4. Jim Ross/The King - RAW is already barely watchable, but this duo just makes the show shitty half the time. Tell them to shape up or ship out (and tell Jerry to stop using that voice). Teddy Long, Mick Foley, and Mike Tenay need to take over (a pipe dream, I know). A trio is so much better. 5. Nash - I wanted to give him a chance, but I just want him to go. Now. Smackdown! top 5: 1. Chris Benoit - Great wrestler and I enjoy his badass character. 2. Rhyno - GORE GORE GORE. 3. Rey Mysterio 4. Eddie Guerrero 5. Brock Lesnar Smackdown! bottom 5: 1. Hogan - Nostalgia ended a few weeks ago. 2. Mr. America - Because nostalgia ended a few weeks ago. The joke was obvious to make, but they're extending it way too long. 3. Stephanie - UGH 4. Big Show - I'll take Albert for a hoss instead. 5. Rikishi - Smackdown's answer to HHH. YAGH.
Guest eiker_ir Report post Posted May 20, 2003 RAW: - Jericho: the total package in th WWF imo. the most entertaining guy in the whole federation to me. - Christian: like someone said a few posts ago, he's following Jericho's footsteps and i'm glad he's getting pushed, 'bout time. - Hurricane: BiaTch~!! best.gimmick.ever - Booker T: pretty good and very over with the crowd. - RVD: even if he's been demoted to the tag division he's still one of the most over guys in the whole roster. Pretty entertaining and i simply like the guy. SmackDown!!!! - Eddie: with Angle gone, he's the best on SD right now. - Brock Lesnar: has improved alot and is a good champion imo. - Benoit: well you know, he's Benoit. - Matt Hardy: i'm a M'Fer. no more to say. - Rey Mysterio/Spanky: tie here, my two favorite cruisers, Rey is the best when it comes to wrestle and Spanky is just pretty cool, and the music rules!. Guest Heavy As Hell Report post Posted May 20, 2003 RAW 1. Jericho seems to be the general consensus and I'm going with that one aswell. 2. Austin because he's entertaining me greatly with his GM character. 3. Trish cuz I don't recall a match that she hasnt given it her all(regardless of skill level) and hasnt been willing to sell anything. 4. Booker T - Always fairly solid 5. HHH because I always need to new material to hate him for. SD! 1. Crippler (duh) 2. Cena has won me over after initially hating his white boy rapper gimmick. 3. Los Guerreros both get number three cuz they rule it consistently and thouroughly. 4. Brock 5.Ta-MOTHERFUCKING-jiri These usually change from week to week. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted May 20, 2003 RAW: 1. Chris Jericho- Other than Austin and/or Hogan, gets the most crowd reactions in the entire WWE most of the time. Great ring worker, "oozing" charisma. 2. Steve Austin- Austin IS Raw. 'Nuff said. 3. Christian- Starting to get valuable t.v. time. He'll make the best of it. 4. Trish Stratus- Other than Jazz, is the women's division 5. Booker T- When pushed is very over, can work the mic, and hustles a lot in the ring (lots of effort) SMACKDOWN: 1. Chris Benoit- Since King Kurt is out for now, Chris Benoit is easily the best talent on their roster. 2. Eddy Guerrero- A notch below Benoit in the workrate category 3. John Cena- IMO, alongside Jericho as the hottest heel act in the WWE today. Lots of potential. 4. Brock Lesnar- With some mic work, he can be extremely over. Is a great ring worker, gets the shaft from the garbage booking crew. 5. Matt "Mattitude" Hardy- Starting to win me over with his arrogant/goofy gimmick. MUCH better than Jeff, and is over enough. Guest Reservoir_Kitty Report post Posted May 20, 2003 1. Hurricane- How I love thee, Shane Helms. 2. Chris Jericho 3. Christian - I miss the OLD music. That was clutch. 4. Victoria 5. Jazz - Throw Trish on her head one more time. DO IT!! Honorable mentions: The Rock (yeah, he left, but), Teddy Long, Rico's sideburns 1. Brock Lesnar 2. Mattitude 3. FBI 4. Eddy Guerrero 5. Kurt Angle (aww, come back sooner!) Honorable mentions: Rey Mysterio, Benoit, Rhyno, Taijiri Things I hate on both shows: Well, I don't have all day.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted May 21, 2003 Rather than simply pick the best wrestlers, I will just go with who is entertaining me the most at the moment. RAW 1. Chris Jericho - He can't carry a show on his back like Rock can, but he is still the most entertaining thing on it. 2. Christian - Personality-wise, he ranks up there with Jericho. He just can't back it up in the ring. 3. Hurricane - One of the most over guys on the roster but he gets stomped on more than anybody (except Noble on Smackdown). He never ceases to entertain. 4. Booker T - He should be the guy who is main-eventing on the face side. He certainly deserves more than the IC Title. 5. Steve Austin - Not a wrestler anymore, but still the biggest star on RAW. SMACKDOWN 1. Chris Benoit - My favourite wrestler since 1995. No change here. 2. Matt Hardy, Version 1.0 - I love his gimmick. I am shocked at how much he has improved over the past year. He actually has better mic skills than wrestling skills these days, something that would have been insane to say two years ago when his acting made Test look good. Moore & Crash almost single-handedly have me interested in Velocity every week. Yes, they suck, but they sure are entertaining. 3. Brock Lesnar - The deserving WWE Champion. If any one wrestler can bring WWE out of this slump, its him. 4. Eddy Guerrero - He would be higher, but his gimmick doesn't work. Still #2 as far as ring skills are concerned. 5. John Cena - Has loads of potential, and has a great character. Still green in the ring. More entertaining outside the ring than in it. He's good, but Matt's above him on the heel ladder. Still can be a good upper-midcarder at this point.
Guest TheBostonStrangler Report post Posted May 21, 2003 RAW 1. Steve Austin - He's making the show worth watching. He's doing what Rocky did in February and March, and just singlehandedly carrying the show. Austin can definitely deliver the goods, so it ought to be interesting to see whether he can keep the momentum going. 2. Christian - Impressive little run by Christian. It's his big chance. 3. Goldberg - A less than popular choice, but he wins me over a little bit more every week 4. RVD - His mic work, when he's had teh chance, is showing improvement 5. Bischoff - A great foil to Austin should be enough to revitalize his always good, yet somewhat stale, evil GM character. SMACKDOWN 1. Eddie Guerrero - He's done a superb job, and his work in the ladder match was incredible as always. 2. John Cena - A good, fresh new character. 3. Rey Mysterio - Willing to do whatever it takes for his shot at the top. 4. Chris Benoit - self-explanatory 5. Brock Lesnar - A surprisingly good stretcher match with Show gets him this spot.
