The two became friends after meeting backstage at the mtvICON: Metallica taping. The performance is likely to appear on Avril's upcoming live album release on September 9th. And now he's piggybacking on the next or current hot act (Christina, then Britney, now Avril) attempting in vain to get his name out there just for the chance that people will give a shit about him again.
