Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 21, 2003 So for those people who just got out of school or who are about to, which is most of the people here, what do you have planned for the vacation? Nothing really big for me. School just got out for me and there are huge parties at ASU so Im probably gonna check those out to start out my vacation. Then in the middle of June Im gonna go to Six Flags Magic Mountain in California with my girlfriend and my family. However, I will be taking Health and Communication Applications (technical for "Speech") this summer as advance classes to get those credits out of the way. AND, I plan to get a job to pay for my cable internet connection and get other shit I want (jerseys, games, DVDs, etc.), so I don't think I can even consider my summer a "vacation". I might go away for a few days once or twice, but I won't be able to take a week off or anything like that. I get all the federal holidays off, and taking an extra day or two in conjunction with them turns into a four or firve-day weekend, which is some good. I had considered taking a summer course or two, but given that I pay my own tuition (only community college right now, thankfully) I'm going to concentrate on saving up as much as I can for the fall. It'll be a short vacation, though, seeing as how I have to be back at work tomorrow. But three glorious days off after that should allow me to take in the splendour of Salvation Army, Public Library, Taco Bell, and a whole host of other local paradises.
