Guest redbaron51 Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 Its more of a joke...a lighter side for the Tiger fans..
Guest Vern Gagne Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 They'll have the worse record but Bonderman, Maroth, Cornejo have pretty good arms who could be decent down the line.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Their pitching seems good, but they can't support them with their hitting.
Guest geniusMoment Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Lets put it this way I wouldn't trade Dunn or Kearns for the damn organization, including all minor league teams.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 East? Are we thinking of the same Detroit Tigers?
Guest alkeiper Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 They're in the central now. They used to be in the east before the last expansion. Personally, I think they're not as bad as it seems. They've got half decent pitching, and its easier to get hitting than pitching. And they'll have more cash to use after the contracts of Paquette, Damion Easley, and Dmitri Young. They've got more young talent than the Orioles, IMO.
Guest Choken One Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Tigers...They really need a kick in the ass... out the door.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Dead Fucking Last... Least we have the Pistons and Red Wings
Guest phoenixrising Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Here's another thought... Can MLB waive the "all teams must be represented in the All-Star Game" rule for Detroit?
Guest alkeiper Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 O's need it more than Detroit does. At least Tampa Bas has Rocco Baldelli and Aubrey Huff.
Guest Choken One Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I say we just give it to Dmerti Young as a backup DH... I say young because I know NONE of the other ass clowns on that team... Gee...I wonder if Young still is glad to be out of Cincy? or is perfectly happy in the basement?
Guest Some Guy Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 9-35 on May 22 is pretty fucking laughably horribly pathetically bad. They're top hitter with more than 8 ABs is hitting .268 and Higginson makes like $12 mil. Dmitri Young leads the team with a whopping 21 RBI and they bat .215 as a team. Suprisingly their team ERA isn't too bad at 4.65, give Texas their staff and they'd win 95 games. But the poit remains that this is the worst team I've ever seen. And it will be a long time before they get too much better. I like Carlos Pena. He's a good local kid. (Northeastern alum).
Guest Will Scarlet Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I picked dead fucking last; however I think they will be breaking the record for worst record in the modern era, and will come damn close to breaking it for worst team of all-time.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 at the Red Wings. Yeah, all those Stanley Cup championships. What losers
