Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Are we talking the P vs. P maps only? Only 2 games I got a chance to play like that were Halo and Red Faction 1. Some of the Halo maps are sweet, and different enough to challenge you in different ways (hiding and sniping on Boarding Action is well nigh impossible in 4 vs. 4 team mode with the guys I play with, they countersnipe the shit outta you). Red Faction was okay, despite the somewhat more limited map choices. I pissed off my best friend because it was his game and I ended up beating him almost all the time on a map with two multi-level bases and a 1 on 1 mode. Geo-Mod was fun when you could arm a missle launcher, blow his base to shit, then pick him off as he ran for cover . As for playing through a game with 2 or more players, never really got into that too much. I don't play well with others, I guess. Halo was the only one since in some parts the game is hard as hell trying to cover your own ass.

Guest Mr. Adam Report post Posted May 24, 2003 For the PlayStation One, there was no better multiplayer that International Track and Field by Konami. Just insane button bashing pain. Irritating for others but I kicked ass so fuck it. Although Quake 2 for the PC got me through a few sleepless nights.

Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted May 28, 2003 Goldeneye, hands down. My dorm was packed with guys that could play, we'd use all the bang-bang stuff for four player but went to License to Kill with two player to show the skills. Fun times. People that claimed they could kill you before you killed them never bothered me, I just saw it as bravado. What was annoying to me was the people who memorized the spawn points and showed up right when you appeared. What's the fun in that after a while?
Guest Renegade Report post Posted May 28, 2003 We had a sort of honor system where if somebody was respawned in the heat of battle, they had five seconds to take cover and no bullets would be fired
