Robert Duvall delivers an impeccable performance, and Frederic Forrest is delightfully evil as Blue Duck. Diane Lane is pretty hot, and Robert Urich brings out the bastard in all of us. Whores, booze, guns, saloons, card games; makes me wish I lived in the Old West. This is seriously my favorite movie, ever. I watch it almost every night, so that stretches my pre-sleep TV shedule out to a week or so considering this movie is six hours long. Like epic westerns? Run out and buy this now!
