Jackass vs. Dirty Sanchez

Man, I'm posting a hell of a lot...

 

Anyway, we have the American Jackass and the Welsh Dirty Sanchez. On one hand...

 

Jackass - Have released a movie. Thier stunts are funny, but not sick apart from perhaps some of Steve-O's stunts and maybe Dave England with his snow cones and omlettes...

 

On the other hand...

 

Dirty Sanchez - Pins going into your skull...jumping in stinger nettles...eating a pizza covered in pubic hair...

 

What are your opinions on these two shows? Another pointless post by...(see sig)

Freddy Got Fingered is classic. Everything in that movie is as not funny as it could possibly be, thereby making it funny. Tom Green is an intelligent man, and has a concept to his humor, whereas I can't say that about the Jackass guys, except possibly Johnny Knoxville.

Well it sounds like Dirty Sanchez is the sicker show of those two shows...by far.

 

Other than the skits involving Steve-O, Jackass: The Show was never that "sick".

His show was mainly him doing comedic skits that involved him being a dick or a dumbass and I can't think of any actual stunts he did. Tom Green has more in common with Andy Kaufman than he does with Johnny Knoxville.

Well, I know BAM, Dunn and co. are fairly approcahable if you see them out and about, but the Sanchez boys are happy to buy you a pint if you see them kicking about in Wales. They're always out at the clubs getting pissed up - good peoples.

Tom Green did do some stupid things like take a Cow to a market to feed it! Then ask shoppers if they wanted milk from the source! Now Tom Green sucking on the cow's utter is just as sick as the Jackass crew.

thats how I feel about Jackass. Come on Bam beating up his father is stupid, Tom Green would go all out with crazy ideas like the one with the statues.

Well them just being total jackasses is what's funny about Jackass.

 

Don't ask me how that works, but somehow it does.

 

 

Tom Green isn't much different than Jackass. Tom Green does the stupid shit he does with a purpose and is a "performance artist" in the vein of Andy Kaufman. Jackass does the shit they do after they've been drinking and decide to do stupid shit that will end with someone being hurt.

 

Basically It's the same type of stupid shit, but done for different reasons.

Yeh, the first Dirty Sanchez was hyped up to hell by MTV but it *really* failed to live up to expectations.

 

The first stunt was top notch, that being: Guy on ladder, Ford Escort hits ladder at 40 mph.

The gimp taking a TestDrive on his head was also shit funny.

 

All the penis piercing stuff is just kinda dumb. I'd be put off by it if I didn't have a piercing there anyway.

 

But Jackass is superior, all the way. Dave England's one teste did kinda throw me off a bit however.

Jackass: The Movie and Freddy Got Fingered will be forever remembered as pieces of classic cinema. Right up there with Citizen Kane.
