Hopefully they market it as some sort of sequel, spin off or whatever and not as a remake. It doesn't sound like a remake really, so maybe it won't be marketed as one.

Thinking about this a little more, I belive that Burton could really skim that line between Kid Whimsy and Maniacialy Twisted that this film could need. Just look at Nightmare Before Christmas

Last I heard, Manson was remaking Rocky Horror in the Tim Curry part
