Guest RedJed Report post Posted May 23, 2003 (edited) Just starting to get tapes from a trader who has Galavision, anyway I'm having a hard time figuring out whats recent and whats not since I have read that alot of what they have been airing was/were repeats from months ago, or in the least they are months back in airing even new episodes, they are backtracking from like Feb or March? Or has that finally changed? I got a tape from the weekends of 4/26-27 and 5/3-4, curious if ANYONE can help me with when this stuff is from. I would assume some of this has to be old since Shocker here is still a technico I think. The AAA stuff is mostly stuff from TripleMania X. Any help would be appreciated! BTW, saw the Hair v. Hair match from April with Shocker and Vampiro.......definately something to go out of the way to see. Crowd heat is AMAZING. Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 24, 2003 Well todays show was from around Feb. The Saturday shows are suppose to be older than the Sunday shows but they have been months old also. Today it had Shocker vs Ultimo Guerrero with green mask that ended with La Reineria finish by Shocker in the 3rd caida.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted May 25, 2003 Arg so they are still pretty far back with their footage huh? I heard tomorrow is the hair match with Marvin and Zumbido, when was that from? Sounds like there is really no logic to what they are showing.......and whats weird was I swore I read they were supposed to have current stuff as of last month every Sunday, like I'm talking shit that just occured just days beforehand. Oh well at least now I can get caught up with some happenings like the Shocker turn and etc. As far as the AAA stuff, they seem to be out of whack with what they are airing of that too. I had a brief hookup of Lucha from a broadcast station in Tijuana, hence seeing Vamp v. Shocker. They aired it next day on that station.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 25, 2003 I think it has comes down to every show is a best of show instead of being current.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 25, 2003 Feb 9 match of Vampiro vs Tarzan Boy was clipped to hell with a bad camera angle, it looked like a fan cam! I did not know that the NWA belt was in Mexico, Vampiro the NWA Lightweight Champ?

They are still airing the episodes that were missed because of the big Televisa Deportes mix up with them not sending shows to Galavision or something so they will be behind forever now it seems. They are still back in the end of January here in the states of Gala so it could take a while to get back up. The Vamp vs. Shocker match appeared in TJ and elsewhere on April 1st I beleive but it wont be shown here until...lets say the middle of June bc of the back up. I already got it from Alfredo however. So thats pretty much the logic to what they are showing. Just updating the US fans bc personally I know I would have been pissed if they hadnt shown this weeks episode just bc of the mix up. I did not know that the NWA belt was in Mexico, Vampiro the NWA Lightweight Champ? Yeah I think TB won that belt from Shocker like almost a year ago. So yeah thats pretty much it...all the stuff is new, to US in the US. The Sat shows now are just the shows from the week before for those who missed it. Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 25, 2003 I thought that the NWA Lightweight title was in Japan for some reason, as it was part of the 9 titles that Ultimo Dragon had. For news for those who are behind the times like me, Hombre Sin Nobre is in AAA now. Finally a reason to watch AAA, I hope he gets a title shot for the AAA big gold belt. Guest ConspiracyVictim Report post Posted May 26, 2003 If you saw the last two CMLL matches then yes...I havent watched all of AAA yet bc I am studying for finals but im pretty sure it wasnt much. The first two CMLL matches were not too great either but the last two were VERY GOOD.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Shocker vs Ultimo Guerrero is always good, it had some nice spots as usual as the La Reinera was attempted by UG and was countered by Shocker with a roll up cradle pin type move. Needless to say, whoever booked the match is a genius, every rematch is better than the last one, and there is always something new added. AAA was ok with La Parka, El Hombre Sin Nobre, Hijo de Pero Aguerro vs El Brazo, Pirate Morgan, ??? and my personal favorite match of AAA being the mini championship match of Mascarita Sagrada vs Mini Abismo Negro. Mascarita Sagrada is one crazy mini doing some sweet flying headscissors and hurricanas and general spotfest goodness.
