I love OVW too. It's a great promotion, and is actually the best booked promotion in North America.

sorry dude, ROH got that one covered.....

Excuse me while I laugh REALLY hard....

Now, while I'll agree that ROH has some damn good wrestling, their booking is piss-poor. First off, in no way am I a fan of "I'll fight you, but I'll be respectful and shake your hand and hug you before and after the match" crap. If you're going to fight a guy, there needs to be a reason other than that you respect him and want to see how good you are compared to him. Respect doesn't draw money. A match should be built on one guy hating the other, and wanting to rip his damn head off. You have to get the emotion over to the crowd that they want to see Wrestler A beat the holy hell out of Wrestler B because Wrestler B did something so heinous that he deserves to get an ass-kicking for it. No matter how much crowds change, there HAS to be a serious issue for a match, especially a big match in a feud.

In closing, leave the hand-shaking to tennis players.

I emailed RF Video, and I got a response saying Cornette simply enjoys the product, and wanted to be a part of it, like Shamrock did last year.

As for the best booked fed, out of the ones I follow regularly, I'll give the nod to IWA-MS. Ian may not be the greatest promoter in the world, but he can book a good angle.

To be honest I think you people are reading way to much into this, I'd imagine Jimmy will go out there put over ROH, share some good old school stories and get a round of applause and that will be it.

Just wait and see what happens before getting to excited or angry.

Think about it though: Cornette is in charge of the OVW promotion(I think), he wouldn't leave them just to go manage in ROH, now would he? And the preview for the event said he "wanted to do something in ROH" and "what will happen when Jim Cornette's old-school style meets ROH's futuristic style?" So that proves that WWE might just sabotage ROH by having them wrestle the OVW style if ROH becomes a farm league to WWE.

Well we will have to wait and see, mate.

When there is a disput like this simply email Mr. Feinstein. He replyed, "Jim Cornette being there has nothing to do with the WWE. He simply enjoys the product, and wanted to make a one time appearance much like Tommy Dreamer last year."

Whew, that's a relief.
