Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted May 24, 2003 (edited) I am building a website right now and I am using frontpage(to publish) and Dreamweaver(to build), the million dollar question is do I still need a good HTML book? I got one a few months ago and it was complete crap. Edited May 24, 2003 by Midnight Express83
Guest MrRant Report post Posted May 24, 2003 Yes... or find a good site that will let you find some quick stuff/reference if you need it. I find the Learn HTML in 24 hour books to be very good for that kindof thing.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 24, 2003 You should still learn the basics of HTML & CSS, and a book can sometimes be more convenient than an online reference, though Dreamweaver should have a good one (I have an old version that has online versions of the O'Reilly books---not sure if the latest one has it). I haven't looked at the various web design books out there lately, but back when I worked at a bookstore, the Wrox books were pretty good.
