Kurt Angle in Toronto tomorrow

Recommended Posts

Guest art_vandelay

Kurt Angle is coming to the Air Canada Centre tomorrow morning to help sell tickets for the Smackdown in July. I'm planning to go, but I've never been to one of these "meet the superstar at the box office" things before, so I was just wondering if any of you knew what the procedure would be. Will there be some sort of tent there that will show fans where to line up and get their autographs? Are pictures allowed, etc.

Also, what should I say? I was thinking of telling him that I was Dr. Jho's nephew, but it would sorta be like lying to god, and that's not good, is it?

Just got back. It was fun.

Arrived into the line at 9am. The guys at the very front were there since 4pm last night. Craziness. Well, the man came out at about 10:45am. First up-close impressions: He's really bald and his eyes are totally glassy. Nice guy. He took the time to shake everyone's hands and posed for a picture with every single person. My friend told him he came all the way from China to see him and the fucker got his autograph personalized.

Carl DeMarco came by some time later. I asked him about Bret and he said he hasn't talked to him in a while. He refused to comment when asked about the rumoured Bret Hart DVD (read: he ignored me).

At about 12:20pm, Kurt Angle got up to leave. He gave a few girls hugs. I asked him if he'd be back in June. His response: "I'll be back next week."

There you have it. Straight from the horse's mouth. I'm a reporter now.

Why would Angle want to go to a SARS-infested area for? Unless he had a surgical mask on to prevent himself from getting the disease, then that might not have been too bad.

For that matter, why would the WWE do tours in Africa? Don't they got that AIDS there or somethin'?

I'm glad they don't go to San Francisco, I hear there's a wicked case of Gay going around and I wouldn't want anyone to catch it...

*cough*

I heard they're really afraid of touring in Japan because they don't want to catch the dreaded Good Wrestling disease that is afflicting so many Japanese wrestlers and even U.S workers that go over there. Shit, it's been 10 years since he went there and poor Benoit still hasn't rid himself of it.......

Oh Vince's cure for that disease is to feed Benoit to the hosses. They'll lick him clean of any of that workrate shit he got from Japan.

I know, I know. He's got a big "Workers who've been to Japan" list and he's slowly but surely crossing the names off.

Lance Storm- Move to RAW where he can't wrestle his style and feud him with the Dudley Boyz and give him an anti-America gimmick.

Chris Jericho- Assign to Healmsly, Hunter Hearst for immediate deletion.

Dean Malenko- Subject terminated.

Eddy and Chavo Guerrero- Put in stereotypical Latino gimmick.

Chris Benoit- Begin immediate hossification.
