Anyone getting unusual AOL IM harassment?

The prime shithead goes through his little thing where he bugs me every week or so.

 

Now some dickcheese has set up something to send me about 20 messages from different names all at once. And the only way I stopped it was to change my privacy settings to where I can't accept any messages by new people (so I'm not ignoring you SC...unless that wasn't SC and was the guy bugging me)...kid with nothing better to do keeps crashing my AIM.

I've been getting the samething Youth, and it is VERY VERY annoying. I got an IM from one my good friends yesterday, but I had to close down AIM because I got so many of those fuckin IMs from him.

Happened to me, too. Privacy settings cured the little bastard. Sooner or later if someone gets a new screen name I'll find out anyway so it doesn't effect me very much.

I'm pretty sure that you can put somebody's name on every AIM subprofile in the world, so that they'll get a whole lot of IM's like "who are you?" and "how did you get my screen name?" I heard about this somewhere, is this what happened to you guys?

It's just a little annoying. Just a matter of changing privacy settings, but it's still bothersome. I'm not going to change the AIM name I've had for 4 years though cause some kid has a grudge against someone here.
