BTW, this is Pactrick Bateman from the old forum. I'm converting to a new name. I've gone from upscale, 80's era Serial Killer from that Super Hero on "Adult Swim" that just "lingers" around long after he's contributing anything.

I usually can't log on until after midnight...Not that I'm missing much;). Internet time to me, lately, seems to equate to 'time listening to my new stereo system'.

That doesn't make for quite as many conversations...but does allow for the coversations that you are having, to be more in depth.

Must be a bug because I seen post by me where hardly any are counted. Like it matters or anything. I say Jay should have his finger on the banning trigger and ban anyone who trolls at the other board. We could make a list and start banning away.

But keep posting daily and your count is in the triple digits without effort. They had a 2 week start and will easily be at the highest count.

And there have been no trolls. Though that will probably change when more people start coming over from the old forum.

I really posted too much at times on the old board and here I just want things to be different. I want to post only if it will help someone out with a question or contribute to the topic. The reason some people have such high post counts already, is because a lot of their posts bear little or no actual substance. They have a line or two that says something useless like, "Yeah that was cool". Stuff like that adds nothing and just boosts your count. I guess when it comes down too it, I'd like to be known as a poster who adds something to the conversation and not just, "that dude with the insanely high post count," which IMO is what a lot of you people here are turning into already. I really don't care how long I'm a trainee.

And it was already shitty. It keeps getting worse. But I have thouroughly enjoyed my first week on this board. The conversations are more intelligent, and don't get interrupted by stupid comments. (with the exception of my HHH conspiracies) SHOOT ALL TROLLS ON SIGHT! If this board can be maintained properly....this is SOOOO much better than the old board.

Unless people with "high" post counts start causing trouble or posting crappy threads like "Should I go to sleep?" then there isn't a problem. Considering a lot of the posters still at the old Smark forum aren't here yet...the board has been fun and peaceful.

A quality post is one that adds to the topic. There is only one thread on this WHOLE foumn that has any post whoring what so ever. And its not bullshit. Its saying whatever is the first thing that comes to you mind. The post count of this board shows the rate people post. Except mine, I used to have more time to post and thats how I was at 1600+ post on the smarks board yet here I am at only 34? Maybe 33 or 35. Doesn't matter since nobody is making titles, counts, sigs a big deal.

Que sera sera and all that crap. No one else seems to be championing Captian Linger's name and I just love that 2min 'toon that (sometimes) airs during Adult Swim. I was horrified when it didn't come on last Sunday. I'm Trying to get every ep on tape. The whole concept is so stupid that it's genius in spite of itself. It's like the "TV Funhouse" Superman parody about a Super Hero that just wants to get laid, only I never thought that was all that funny. Everyone wants to get laid, that's so obvious. It's less funny being bludgeoned over the head with low brow humor in such a simple manner. Low brow humor seems to work best when it's as offensive as humanly possible, TV Funhouse's skit didn't do it for me. On the other side of the spectrum, there's nothing at all offensive about Captian Linger. He's just an idiot. I don't know what it is but I can really relate to that;).
