I just finished reading his book and it was a good read. Anyway, he talks a lot about himself and how good he was. I've never seen him wrestle at all, and I know he is a legend, but was he that good?

Yeah, for the time period Blassie was a decent mat worker, but his best elements were his charisma, mic work and ability to play a heel to a T. He was a great manager too. I've only seen clips of his wrestling, but he was comparable to a Lou Thesz or a Killer Kowlawski I'd say. Go over to www.kayfabememories.com and I'm sure they could fill you in better.

Okay, thanks bro. But www.kayfabememories.com doesn't work.

I almost got the book, but $26 is way too much to pay for that short of a book.
