Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted May 26, 2003 We know Vince hates us, so does HHH, but who do you think in the WWE respects the internet and the internet fans? My only guess is Matt Hardy, I mean look at the gimmick and the graphics associated with it. Hurricane has a diary, so he somewhat probably likes us.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Workers with online diaries have some semblance of respect for their internet peeps: --Matt Hardy. --Shane Helms. --Chris Kanyon. --Lance Storm. --WILLIE THE WORKER~!
Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Lance Storm obviously likes it too. I would imagine 99 percent of his fan base came from his site.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Shark Boy. Before you say he's not WWE...he has worked 2 WWE shows...one a dark match he lost to Kanyon, the other an International Heat where he lost to Nowinski
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted May 26, 2003 I think they respect the opportunity to interact with fans on the net, but not so much wrestling fans on the net - as Jericho states, it has become a place of negativity. Before this belief, people like Hunter and Foley used to get reports done for them about feedback from fans on the net.
Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Before this belief, people like Hunter and Foley used to get reports done for them about feedback from fans on the net. This is the first I've heard about this... would you mind explaining a bit more?

Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted May 26, 2003 OnlyMe - WWF openly admitted it during the boom period and encouraged fans to submit their feedback during this time. Raven_Effect - I am not sure how to interpret that smilie...
Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted May 26, 2003 uncle Vincent loves us. We put $ in his pocket. If he truly liked us, he wouldn't try to turn us away with stupid angles, bad wrestling, the wrong people being pushed, wrestlers speaking out against internet fans, etc.
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted May 26, 2003 I don't think anybody with any political clout whatsoever in WWE likes the Internet, specifically smarks. I think they view it as a necessary evil.

Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Raven_Effect - I am not sure how to interpret that smilie... I assume it means sarcasm to what you said earlier, which meant the same thing as me saying "Yeah, we're too negative. Let's take all the shit WWE dishes out on us, be happy about it, and not speak up to get them to provide a better product, even though we know they'll probably go out of business in 1 or 2 years for it." Let's take all the shit WWE dishes out on us, be happy about it, and not speak up to get them to provide a better product, even though we know they'll probably go out of business in 1 or 2 years for it." Perhaps I should have explained it better - I was referring to the belief of many WWE personnel, rather than my own.

Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Triple HHH secretly pines for us, he won't admit it but he desperately wants our love. He wants us to talk about his place in the history of the WWe the same way we do about Austin, Foley and the Rock. He wants us to respect his in-ring ability as much as we do Angle, Benoit and Guerrero's. Everytime he (or one of his flunkies) slams the internet he's really saying "Why don't you respect me? Who else do I have to cleanly pin, over and over again, for you to love me as idiotically as Steph does?" He wants us to look at him the same way we did a few years ago when he was good, but since no amount of making all the other wrestlers (who aren't clique members) look bad will change our minds about him, all he can do is petulantly whine about us like the little bitch that he is. But he loves us, sad as it is, he does.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Vince or Stephanie put a ban on the internet for the writers, so if they get caught looking at it they will get fired or punished.
Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted May 26, 2003 Ok that's just ludacris... Ban on the Internet?!? I hope you mean ban from interacting on boards such as these or wrestling sites rather than a flat ban on the internet. No job is worth that.
