The Dudley Boyz. Representin' the south and metropolitan sides of Dudleyville.

Why aren't Candido & Storm on this poll?

Dudleys, no doubt.  They dominated the fed from about 96 until they left in 99.

Benoit n Malenko are the smart mark's wet dream, but they didn't really do a lot.

The Elims would've placed much higher if they'd lasted longer.  Hell, you gotta wonder if Saturn regrets that sometimes when he looks back at "Moppy".

I also voted for the boys from Dudleyville. I don't think Saturn regets leaving the Elims. Didn't he dislike working with Kronus (Sp?)?

Dudleys win this one.  Honorable mentions to the Eliminators and Impact Players

Duds as far as impact goes but Elimators and Gangstas were so much more fun to watch.

Although Saturn was stuck with Moppy, at least he's making a good amount of money and getting some TV time in the WWF.  Kronus, on the other hand, is in XPW.

I was always a fan of Raven and Stevie... they had a great connection... but if you mean in terms of dominance... The Dudleys are your men.

Jingus's exhaustive(ly boring) poll analysis:

Public Enemy: they bled.  A lot.  And cursed.  And waved their arms.  Oooh, shivers down my spine.

Sabu & Taz: Sabu hadn't broken down yet, but Taz hadn't found his groove either.  Really clashing styles.

Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko: had a couple of good matches, but weren't together long enough in ECW to rate.

Raven & Stevie Richards: not so much a team as a leader & his one of his flunkies.  They did work well together.

Pit Bulls: nurse, get me some steroids, and lot's of em, stat!  But they weren't too bad, #2 took some surprising bumps at time.

Eliminators: one hell of a combination.  Promos sucked, but the matches were damn good.  Neither man has been good since.

Gangstas: it wasn't all those dives that crippled New Jack, it was carrying Mustafa's worthless lardass around for years.  "Mr. Mustapha" was basically Curtis Hughes with a bandana, but New Jack was a true phenomenon.

Dudleys: best overall tag-team in ECW.  Good matches, great promos, the fans wanted to kill them throughout Bubba Ray & D'Von's tenure.

Sabu & RVD: Sabu was slowing down and missing spots by this time, and RVD was still green-looking, so it wasn't what it could've been.  Stayed a team for much longer than they should've.

Justin Credible & Lance Storm: even though I think Storm is overrated and Credible is underrated, Lance was still a helluva lot better than Justin.  Were booked way too strongly, and got X-Pac "we're tired of this crap" heat instead of heel heat.  For some reason they feuded with Tommy Dreamer endlessly, and rarely faced ECW's other real teams, which were stuck in the midcard fighting each other.

Although the Eliminators are the better tag team wrestling-wise the micwork of the Dudley Boys is unbeatable.

The Dudley Boys were unprecidented 8 time ECW tag champs so how can you overlook them.  Their mic-skills were second to none, they had Joel Gertner, their matches were decent, and they were heat machines.
