Didn't GI Joe have a storyline where Sgt Slaughter was captured and chained up by Kobra Commander? Am I dreaming this all? Answer my inquiries of bring up some of your own with the blast from our past!
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 During the Rise of Serpentor storyline, Dr. Mindbender was stealing DNA from all of history's greatest military leaders to build Serpentor with. This included Sgt. Slaughter who Cobra had chained to a wall in a dungeon until Slaughter broke the chains himself and met up with a Joe rescue unit. Sounds like what you might be thinking of. The big Cap'n Crunch contest I remember was that he was lost somewhere in America and you had to find him. That proved successful, so I believe they ran other contests, but not sure about the keys. This was spoofed on a classic episode of Family Ties where the kids were playing a contest to find a Cap'n Crunch knockoff and he wound up being under a bus in Dayton or something after Alex thought he had perfectly triangulated his whereabouts.
