Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 26, 2002 The brief mention of Austin reminds me of when Warrior took off before teaming with savage and Perfect filled the gap. Or when Sid failed a steroid test and was fired. I'm starting to think that were not going to be hearing about stone Cold on WWF television again.

They talked about him constantly on RAW, so I wouldn't count on it. Austin will be back, but he might not be too happy about ending up on RAW.
Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted March 26, 2002 The fact that they kept talking about Austin's "contract clause" makes me think more and more that the whole thing with him is a work. They probably just wanted him to be somewhat of an exception from everyone else as far as the draft went just because, well, he's Stone Cold Steve Austin. And Sid was on STEROIDS???
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 26, 2002 He won't be happy because he'll still be stuck with the nWo. And with them being top heels and him being the top face he'll probably work with them. Oh well........maybe he'll beat up X-Pac a whole bunch.
Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted March 26, 2002 You know, I'd rather Austin face Undertaker for the 3,739,295th time than ANY of the nWo.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 26, 2002 ...why did Warrior even leave? And Sid was on STEROIDS??? Warrior left to play softball... ... no wait, Sid went nuts and legally changed his name to Sid... ... um, I'll go now Seriously, I'm not sure anyone knows why Warrior left (all those times) but the consensus is that he's completely unreliable and a little bit fucked in the head. Go to his website and if you can wade through his verbal delusions you might get a better understanding of just how weird this guy has become. As for Sid, I don't know about the steroids, but it's a safe bet he's taken them at some point, and he did take time out to play softball at various stages of his career... you know, when he wasn't out snapping his legs in half or attacking people with kiddie scissors... Oh, and just to stay on topic, I think Austin will be at Smackdown, or at the latest, next week's Raw. I don't think they'd mention him so much last night if they had no plans for him. And besides, the guy probably needs time off to recharge his batteries. It takes a lot of effort to hold down two useless slugs...
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 26, 2002 Sid and Warlord went at about the same time and sheets reported that they'd failed steroid tests. This was at the start of the scandal. I've heard that the first time Warrior left he was rational but thought that he was worth way more than Vince was willing to pay. He's meant to way out there now though. I forgot how much Sid likes Softball. He's no-showed loads of times to play it. When Hogan and Warrior reappeared after testing was introduced Hogan looked awful and Warrior wore a muscle suit. Ghast I get my info from books the sheets, Power Slam and a couple of Radio Shows so nothing I say is any more reliable than anyone else.
Guest Report post Posted March 26, 2002 It stirred up a little fuzz when Sid failed a steroid test just before his main event at WM8 and he still was allowed to make the date and get the pay check that comes with co-headlining WrestleMania, since alot of wrestlers had been forced to get off the steroids after all the trouble in 1991. Anyway, Sid claims that he had told Vince exactly what he was on and that the test was just an excuse to get to Sid after WM (and looking at him it was kinda obvious wasn't it). Sid wanted to leave shortly after arriving in the WWF as a face and not getting what he felt he was promised and he wanted to return to WCW because he thought he wasn't being used right. All the stories about softball, scissors and squeeges (Sid's 3 S's ) makes it a little difficult to take him seriously but I've always been a mark for him and is probably the only person in the world who likes his interviews. Especially the ones leading up to WM8.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 26, 2002 Well, you're probably not alone, considering the pop he got when he debuted in ECW. And those Philly mutants aren't known for cheering anyone but guys whose names start with "Ben" and end in "wah". And hey, if Hogan's still getting pops, Sid can't be all bad. Just ask Arn... Guest godthedog Report post Posted March 26, 2002 what exactly is the squeegee incident? it's been mentioned many times, but never explained.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 26, 2002 Long story short, back in WCW, Sid and Brian Pillman got into a spat somewhere. Sid grabbed the nearest weapon he could find, which turned out to be... a squeegee. The rest is infamy...
