Guest Nanks Report post Posted May 30, 2003 Just saw this today and I thought it was really good, it just kept on twisting and twisting, and still managed to make sense at every turn. Good to see Travolta involved in something good again. Opinions anyone??
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted May 30, 2003 I didn't see it because I couldn't tell what the heck it was about. That being said, I'll probably get it on DVD.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted May 30, 2003 It was a good movie, and I liked it but there were far too many twists in the movie. I walked out thinking Vince Russo had wrote it.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 I liked it, but it almost seemed that they put so many twists in it that they forgot to have it make sense. I was totally confused at the end.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted May 31, 2003 It's unfortunate really, it makes it difficult to understand many of the reactions in the movie when it turns out that Spoiler (Highlight to Read): he knew the guy he was interviewing the whole time, for example, it just doesn't seem right in retrospect that he acted that way when Harry Connick Jr. told him "Pike" wasn't black and so forth. Although I suppose you can look at it from the perspective it was all just a big test for the chick, but still, I was kinda happier when it turned out that Hardy was behind it all

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I think it had to be an act, coz he needed to be given that info in order to sprint out onto the runway and grab the "interviewee"(we never found out his name!) from the MPs and do the hold him against the propellor until he agrees to talk thing. Confusing stuff. But I don't really feel like going and seeing it again to try and work it out, they really should've done more flashback thoughts like they did for the chick when she thought Hardy was behind it
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted May 31, 2003 I like that I didn't see Basic, but seem to have figured out the big twist anyway. There's only so much you can do to surprise in a big flashy way these days.
