Guest alkeiper Report post Posted May 30, 2003 -David Cone is expected to announce his retirement today, at the age of 40. Cone retires with 194 wins, and an impressive .611 winning percentage. -Cuban import Jose Contreras makes his first career start tonight vs. the Tigers. I'd like to point out that Brad Wilkerson is hitting .299/.409/.518. What does he have to do with Contreras? Well, I traded Contreras for him in the fantasy league. -Tonight is the first ever historic matchup between Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine. Smart money is on Maddux of course. -Those of you who like offense will love the Blue Jays-Red Sox series kicking off tonight.

Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted May 30, 2003 The game's in a rain delay. It sucks for Cone that he was 6 wins shy of 200.
