Guest wwF1587 Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 whats up all, well this morning was my graduation ceremony from high school..pretty excitting stuff as I am glad high school is over.. i think i am going to take a year off and just work but im not sure yet... i dont mean to gloat or anything (i know thousands are doing it now and millions have done it before) but i just wanted to get it off my chest. Pretty ordinary graduation ceremony... one of our speakers broke out in tears after thanking his mom...thats about the only noteable thing that hapend... so for those of you who have graduated... any memories or special thing(s) happen...well im off to a graduation open house so LATER!
Guest HBK16 Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Congrats man. Graduating is the best part of high school so you dont have to deal with all the high school bullshit. I had a lot of friends that took a year off after graduating and just worked. Well good luck.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Congratulations. The easiest part of your life is over.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Wow, graduation already? You must start pretty early or something. My graduation is on June 26th. I really can't wait until it is all over. I was going to do the chill and get a job thing, but I got the opportunity to head to school, so now I will be studying to become a PC Technician..... Well, good luck!
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Yeah, congratulations and all that. But....isn't graduating from high school just a bit overrated? I mean, you pretty much have to be a retard to NOT get your diploma. What's so special about it? Just wondering is all.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 To borrow a bit from Chris Rock... "Hey man, I graduated from high school." "What do you want a cookie...you're SUPPOSE to graduate you dumb motherfucker!"
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Ah, the ol' year off to work plan. Don't do it unless there's NO other way to afford college. Otherwise, you'll just end up bouncing from shitty job to shitty job, like I did, before running out of college money anyway. Then you get to work in a warehouse and be dirty.
