LaParkaYourCar Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 I just downloaded Microsoft Power Point off of Kazaa and everytime I try to run the exe file it says my OS isn't configured to run this application. What does that mean and how can I fix it?

Guest Flyboy Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Don't just download Powerpoint. Download the whole Office XP (it's about 450+ MB). That should help and give you more than just Powerpoint.
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 1, 2003 Author Report Posted June 1, 2003 But I have a 56k Modem and 450mb is way out of the question. All I need right now is Power Point. I'm using Windows XP and since I can't get Powerpoint to load I'll go with the file version which says 10.0.2511.1
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 What is the exact error you are getting? You might have an cd image that was named wrong. Change the extention from .exe to .iso and try burning it to a cd.
Guest DrTom Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 You may have downloaded a Powerpoint upgrade, which can only be added to an existing install of MS Office which lacks Powerpoint, or can replace a previous version of Powerpoint.
