Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted June 1, 2003 Well, lucky me, Van's will be having an event in Jersey City, NJ, free admission! My friend got his board signed by the above skateboarders, and more! Free t-shirts, free bookbags, etc! It was rained out yesterday, and so far, it rained HEAVILY this morning, but it has stopped. I REALLY WANT TO GO! I live only....about 30-50 blocks from the park they are holding it at! Hopefully, it wasn't cancelled.........

Guest Insanityman Report post Posted June 1, 2003 Grr, damn you man. Meh, I've gone to nearly every skate demo in the area- and I accidently was standing next to Andrew Reylonds and I never realized it until next week! I nearly kicked my own ass.
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted June 1, 2003 Hmmm......I wonder how they will finish it.. It is the Mountain Dew National Championships debut here. I saw the schedule, and wow. they have missed alot of events and qualifying rounds. Yesterday, it was rained out, and once again....it was rained out again. My friend passed by real quick, and they saw a bunch of trailers putting everything away. DAMN IT! WHY!?!?!?? Today was the last day of taping. They are going to show it on TV June 22. Does anyone know if an event was rained out, will they resume with the event the next day? I know tomorrow around here.....80 degrees......Mostly Sunny. I have seen a webiste where they list the event going on into June 2, but the official site has it until June 1. Hopefully, they don't pack up and leave to another site and finish there........ Guest What? Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Geoff Rowley? G-G-Geoff R-Rowley?! DAMN YOU!!! but on a side cool note, I did go to an Anti-Hero/Real demo and skated with Tony Trujillo, Mic-E Reyes, John Cardiel, Keith Hufnagel and Peter Ramondetta. Plus, The Gonz made an appearance and I got to talk with him... that was also the night I met my girlfriend, so...that was a great day.
