Guest the holy grail Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Does anybody know if Backlash 2000 has been put onto DVD, if so does anyone know where i an get that spectacle from?
Guest Bruiser Chong Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 No, any of the non-Big Five PPV's before Backlash 2001 were not put on DVD with the exception of the two 1998 PPV's released as part of the Attitude Collection.
Guest Karnage Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 The Attitude collection has no menus or chapter selections right?
Guest eiker_ir Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 The Attitude collection has no menus or chapter selections right? right after No Way Out 2001, every WWF PPV was put out on DVD
Guest the holy grail Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 its a shame one of the best PPV's is not even on DVD
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Hopefully, they end up releasing that. I wanted Backlash 2000 on DVD as well..
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 If they do release Backlash 2000 on DVD it needs to have extras and good ones at that. But alas we'd probably just get stuff that's already in the video packages (like Austin blowing up the DX Express as far as this event goes)
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I was AT Backlash 2000! What a great show. I paid 40 bucks at Suncoast video a few weeks after to own the video tape!
Guest the holy grail Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Just one question, at the end of the Rock HHH match, how loud and crazy was the pop for austin.
Guest Mole Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Louder than when I was born. What, I had a crowd.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Yeah we all went NUTS for Austin. All night long, every time Austin was shown in a video package on the screen he'd get a HUGE pop. I was in the second deck so I was high enough to barely see behind the titantron and right before Austin came out I could see a shadowy figure standing right behind the entrance and I turned to my friend and said "There's Austin, he gonna come out" and sure enough a second later he did and it was deafening. Big Show as Hulk Hogan got a massive pop from everyone too, even a "Hogan" chant (2 years before he'd return). In the first match Xpac/RD vs. Edge and Christian this was right when WWF was trying to get E&C over as heels, but we'd have none of it, as the crowd was totally behind them, and in a hilarious moment when they used the bell behind the ref's back to win, the whole crowd exploded in cheers. The whole night was awesome and the crowd was into everything except APA vs. Bossman/Bull Buchanan where you could literally see all the people in the aisles filing out to the bathroom, myself included, who missed the match while buying some food
