Guest DawnBTVS Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Right now, I'm trying to start collecting Harley Quinn items(Big surprise there eh?). I'm also doing an off again/on again collecting of Buffy items.
Guest razazteca Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I have a trading card collection hidden in the closet somewhere. With several rookie cards worth good money if I ever wanted to sell it on E-Bay. Some Starting Line Up figures still in case of course. Comics from late 80s to early 90s several #1 issues. ROMS and MP3s and whatever is on the net to download.
Guest Vyce Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Comics. Books. Wrestling tapes. The more unusual stuff: medieval weaponry, and any other manner of odd or bizarre or arcane esoterica.
Guest Eagan469 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Wrestling themes When I was younger I collected happy meal/kids meal toys. Had a pretty nice collection until my parents told me to sell them for like 1-cent a piece at a garage sale Other things I collected when I was younger: Wrestling videos Wrestling figures Wrestling magazines Beanie Babies Little Golden Books (I still have them in a box somewhere - I should probably sell them) Pogs

Guest El Satanico Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 DVDs, star wars toys, Todd Mcfarland toys, horror and movie posters are my main ones. It's not limited to that, as I collect alittle bit of everything.

Guest Bruiser Chong Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I'm a pretty big fan of collecting things, so I'd be here all day if I tried to recall every single thing I've collected over the years. Instead, I'll just give a brief overview: In the past, I collected tons of action figure lines like Robocop, Beetlejuice, G.I. Joe, Ghostbusters, and countless others. I've gotten rid of them (not really by choice), but I still have a lot of the old Batman and Marvel Comics figures around. I collected SLU's for many years and attained a nice collection. In recent months, I've been selling most of them off on eBay and really not making much at all because they're not really hot at the moment. I don't really care just because I have way too much stuff around here that I don't either want or need and it's just time to move 'em on out. I don't have the time or space to wait for that magical time when they're really worth something. I've still got a lot of the more valuable (monetarily and sentimentily) around here like my 1988 Michael Jordan MOC and basically all of Ken Griffey Jr.'s figures MOC. While cleaning out my cousin's attic this weekend, I came across a 1990 Jordan MOC. Pretty sweet. I collected comics for several years, getting a few good ones on my own. When my mom's boyfriend died, I inherited his entire comic book collection which consisted of basically all the early issues of The Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, Avengers, and Fantastic Four. I doubt I'll ever sell them just because of where they came from, although I'll prolly part with some of the doubles. When I got out of collecting comics, I got real into sports cards and quickly made my mark collecting baseball and basketball cards. Once I got out of watching basketball and watching less baseball, my interest in the cards dwindled, although I still have most of them around here. Although I don't go out of my way to get them, over the years, I've accumulated a huge collection of old TV shows like Hey Dude, Boy Meets World, Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark, TMNT (the original show), Clarissa Explains It All, Full House, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and a ton of the shows they use to show on Nick-At-Nite. I'm pretty into DVD's now and have obtained about 100 of them since I began heavily buying them a year and a half ago. Then of course, there's the wrestling stuff. I've got a huge collection of tapes and until I found the 'net, I thought mine couldn't be matched. Don't get me wrong, it's still huge, but not compared to some of the others. I've got a couple hundred tapes of WWF TV/PPV's and about 150 or so of the Coliseum Video masters with original boxes. I've also been collecting themes since I got the net and would love to get some of the harder to find ones or better quality versions of some of the themes I already have (Eagen we should talk about that). Then there's the wrestling magazines and the like, which I collected till I got the 'net. Finally, I've got my wrestling figures. I pretty much have all of the Hasbro WWF figures and although I've owned all of the LJN figures at one point or another, I'm in the midst of updating them so I really don't have as many as I use to. I've also got many of the Jakks figures MOC but I may be parting with some of those soon as they've taken up so much room and I really don't have a strong attachment to them. I may have to take some pictures of this stuff someday and post it here.
Guest treble charged Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I used to be a hardcore collector of hockey cards, but I've pretty much fallen out of doing that in the past few years, but I still pull them out every once in a while. That's really pretty much it, though. The only other thing I can really think of is that I try and buy the Raw magazine every month. I have a lot of crap in my room, but I wouldn't really consider it collecting.
Guest HBK16 Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I used to collect caps from beer bottle. I collected them until I could spell the word "beer" on my ceiling. Since they stick pretty good. When I finally finished the word, I stopped to collect them. It took a good 5 months. The word went from wall to wall. It was pretty big. I also collected movie memorbilia. In the time that I worked at a movie theater I seemed to have collected 34 trailers on that film strip stuff. Its impossible to get a player than can actually play it though but its pretty cool to have. Might sell them on Ebay some day.
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I collect DVDs and white tiger paraphenilia.

Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Right now Wrestling tapes Sega Master System items (have a system, 50+ games, and a bunch of extra parts) Random buffy crap if I can get it cheap enough. Comics, but only TPBs and Graphic Novels Bentley Little novels That's about it for now.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I'm a big arcade freak so I collect tokens and occasionally redemption tickets whenever I visit a new arcade. It's around 25 tokens now but I haven't added many more since I haven't been to any new arcades lately. I also have a small collection of manga that seems to be starting up without me even noticing.
Guest ShamRock Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I used to collect Power Rangers action figures. I had a little collection and threw it away when I started to grow up. I collect DVDs and wrestling tapes now.
Guest Addy Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I collect Wrestling stuff. I currently have: 20+ magazines, Event Programme from Mayhem In Manchester, 30+ figures, 26 master videos, 4 DVD's, 2 sticker books, 6 CD's, 7 books, 4 video games. Guest Mad the Swine Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 Baseball cards: I quit in 1995, but occasionally will buy something Sports books: biographies and others. Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 State Quarters So do I. I've got Illinois, and Louisiana recently but I lost my coin book. It will turn up though.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Used to collect baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards up until the early 1990s. Still have them, too. It's funny to see what was valuable then and now. For example, a few years ago I was doing an updated inventory of them, and I had a Darryl Strawberry in a hard plastic case and a Randy Johnson rookie card in my "general population" box...
