Personal taste, there's that word.

 

There's no doubt in my mind she's one of the truly greatest villians of all time, she still holds her own for the new generations, and she still gets to new kids and people all of the time. To me, a villian which holds their own (same for a hero) and stand the test of time and can keep on making an impact, is what truly makes them great.

The AFI has ALWAYS had a hard on for SOTL so I doubt they left off LEcter.

 

Kane must be either a hero or off the list.

 

But if it's not Kane or Ficnh then I have no damn clue who it is.

By that logic, if one person thought something was great that would make it the greatest thing ever and if everybody thought something was great then it would be the most overrated thing ever, regardless of rather that was true or not.
