Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 1, 2003 I just procured (IRC is ichiban) CZW: Best of the Best 3. Overall, the show kicked some fucking ass. Random Thoughts: - The clip video at the beginning of the show was great. Made me actually get into Linkin Park. - The battle royal was SO FUCKING LONG. Could've shaved off a good ten minutes and still made the same points. - I wish they had given some matches longer than others. For instance, I wished the finals were a bit longer (considering they are the most important match), but I can understand why they didn't considering most of the guys had wrestled a lot that night. - B-Boy is a deserving winner, but man was I rooting for Sonjay. I don't think they should've had him beat Sonjay in the end however. He would've been better going over like Jay Briscoe or perhaps Styles for a big rub. I'm predicting Sonjay winning next years tournament for sure though. - CZW should really cut loose a lot of their jobbers and put their funds towards something else. People like Hurricane Kid, Rick Feinberg, or Derek Frazier need to go now. I see no positives in them. - The H8 Club feud should either result in something horrible or something totally violent. Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted June 2, 2003 I actually enjoyed BOTB2 more then BOTB3. The battle royale was way too long. Dump out some of the students and that could have shaved off ten minutes. Though Adam Flash coming out with a cooler marked "Flash's Booze" was golden. Matches had to be short since CZW was starting at quarter after nine, and wanted to be home before 6 in the morning. Mark/Sonajy should have gone longer, and without all of the bullshit around it. As for the finals, I enjoyed Sonjay/B-Boy more then Fleisch/Acid. Of course, both men were completly gassed, but still put out a solid match, and the Shining Wizard set-up was great. With Frazier, they just turned him heel by pairing him with Rebel and Co., so he'll be around for a while. Feinberg used to be known as Barr Camm (why I don't know, and I don't think I want to know either.) I figured the Feinberg gimmick would end when CZW and ROH entered the working relationship, but I guess I'm wrong. As for Hurricane Kid, he can talk better then I thought he could, but other then that, he's useless. Only way I can justify CZW putting him onto shows is if he's working for free or peanuts. And I literally mean peanuts, two could probably fill him up. As for H8 Club, that's what Delaware is for.
