Guest Brian Report post Posted June 3, 2003 I'm really passed blaming just HHH, because creative has blown everything and not built up anything well. Hell. Trips hasn't been booked great either. He's been put in shitty spots and his comeback was handled poorly. It's definately a much bigger problem than just HHH.

Guest Brian Report post Posted June 3, 2003 I had extra time, decided against going to the LEIU protest, and decided to post.
Guest Mole Report post Posted June 3, 2003 Jericho will be a top company man, ONLY when Triple-Juice is done. If Triple-Juice is always with WWE, then he will never be in the main events permently.
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 3, 2003 Unless creative shapes up, it's not going to happen. Jericho's has a stigma of being mid-card that has to be erased, re-built, and then pushed accordingly. Those guys can't pull that off.

People see HHH in dumb storylines with Jericho and say "this is a dumb storyline". People see Jericho in dumb storylines with HHH and say "wow- Jericho's a fucking pussy" That is the difference, and that is the problem. HHH still comes out on top. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 3, 2003 HHH has no one else to blame but himself for his return.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 3, 2003 HHH has no one else to blame but himself for his return. Mind elaborating on that point?
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 3, 2003 Um the Angle for his return was HHH vs. Steph - both writers - both in control of their destiny.
Guest Three minutes Report post Posted June 3, 2003 You're right RRR, I should have set it up better. I'm new here so I was hesitant to post it at all because it's nothing most of you haven't already speculated on, but I thought the essay was interesting. As for Mach7's take that the issue has been done to death-- point taken, the only thing I'll say is it wasn't just the HHH thing that was my focus, I thought the essay as a whole had some good points. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 3, 2003 There's another thread on WC that's about the XFL and it's effect of Vince Mcmahon that was pretty good as well.
Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted June 26, 2003 Anyone notice he got the Brian Adams fact wrong- Adams quit when Bret got screwed, Vince didn't "fire" him. And boy do I want to hear some of those 91 Hogan/Flair stories!
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted June 26, 2003 Adams didn't quit over Bret getting screwed. He wanted more money than Vince was willing to pay him, so Vince let him go.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted June 26, 2003 Great essay about Jericho, and the samething he said about him he could say about RVD or Book.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 26, 2003 Booker hasn't gotten screwed as much as RVD and Jericho have.

Guest EdwardKnoxII Report post Posted June 26, 2003 There's another thread on WC that's about the XFL and it's effect of Vince Mcmahon that was pretty good as well. Yeah no kidding. Cause sometime after the XFL folded wasn't that when Vince started the kiss my ass club?
Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted June 27, 2003 Adams didn't quit over Bret getting screwed. He wanted more money than Vince was willing to pay him, so Vince let him go. I'm 90% sure that he was the only wrestler other than Bulldog/Niehart to successfully ask for his release over the Bret situation.... Hmmmmm
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2003 Has HHH EVER put Jericho over? Not that I can think. Jericho got buried by him when he was a face. Reburied when Jericho was even a heel...
