Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Thanks to Cynthia Vespia for the following report: (1) Chris Benoit beat Sean O'Haire with a top rope headbutt. (2) Crash pinned Funaki after Shannon Moore assisted him with the pin (3) Orlando Johnson pinned Kanyon w/ a crucifix roll up. (4) Matt Hardy beat Jamie Noble with the "side effect" and retained his cruiserweight title. (5) Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri beat Team Angle to retain the tag titles. Eddie had hit the Frog Splash on Charlie Haas, referee became distracted so Shelton Benjamin hit Eddie w/ one of the tag belts and rolled Haas on top for the cover. As the ref got Benjamin back in his corner, Tajiri reversed the pin and put Eddie on top for the victory. *Crowd was big on the 'You Suck' chant for Team Angle. (6) In a six man match A-Train & a new team called The Basham Brothers beat Rey Mysterio, Bill DeMott, & Spanky after A-train gave Spanky the derailer. (7) In a special Divas match Torrie Wilson beat Nidia with a backslide even after Sable (who was special ring announcer) tried to distract Funaki (who was the special ref) by stripping off her top. Nidia attempted an after the bell assault and Funaki tried to pull her off of Wilson only to wind up looking like he was riding Nidia "doggy style" Nidia turned to smack him and Torrie Wilson stripped her of her "daisy duke" shorts. Nidia ran off in her thong and Torrie danced a little then threw the shorts at Sable who seemed unimpressed. (8) John Cena beat Rikishi with a roll up and using the ropes for leverage. After the bell he went to hit Rikishi with a chair but because Cena had said some derogatory statements about Brock in his entrance rap, Lesnar ran down and tried to kill him but got jumped by the FBI and then Taker came out for the save which lead into the main event: (9) Lesnar & Taker beat FBI (Nunzio, Chuck Palumbo, & Johnny Stamboli) After a decent run of about ten to fifteen minutes, Lesnar got a hot tag from Taker and proceeded to destroy all 3 of the FBI with the F5, pinning Nunzio for the win. After the match Taker gave Nunzio the Last Ride and both he and Brock beat on Palumbo & Stamboli some more. Lesnar stuck around after everyone had left the ring and played to the crowd. He looked like he was having a really great time.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Ah, it's Bizarro SmackDown, with Benoit and Brock looking good. And no Mr. America or Mr. McMahon. And cruiserweights. And only one segment for the dumbass Sable angle. Televise house shows.

Guest Max Danger Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Wow, I was in Vegas this past weekend and I didn't even know they were running a show. And I was outside the Thomas & Mack Center THAT MORNING! (I was visiting UNLV.) I find that funny for some reason. *shrug*
