Guest GameCop Report post Posted June 2, 2003 The Matrix saga for Carrie-Anne Moss started on her birthday, August 21, 1997 -- when she received a phone call letting her know that she had been chosen to play "Trinity" -- and ended on August 21, 2002, the day filming wrapped. Guest GameCop Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Ok, where do I start? Moss starred in a television series entitled, "The Matrix" back in 1993. Obviously, the fact that the inception and eventual end of the Matrix trilogy -- at least for Moss-- on her birthday is too much of a coincidence to ignore. She was obviously meant to play the part; hence, the usage of the word, destiny. It was her fate.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted June 2, 2003 Okiedokie, Dr. Jones. Hold on to your potatoes. Keyword there: coincidence. I don't believe in fate. But I did know the Matrix TV show (which had nothing to do with computers, in case anyone was wondering), and if you woulda put that in the first post, it mighta been a little more interesting. Reeves was in the Bill & Ted movies, where he used a telephone to travel, just like The Matrix. Lawrence Fishburne was in a Nightmare on Elm Street movie, a series which includes a Dream World. All coincidences, sure; some interesting, but you probe at something long enough, you're bound to find some way in connecting it to something. But then we'd just be playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Oh, not trying to yell at you or anything, in fact, I don't know why I said anything or even typed out this long-winded post. My advice? Take the blue pill and forget this ever happened.
