Guest Mole Report post Posted June 4, 2003 I don't know how many people watched it because MTV isn't to popular on TSM. I like MTV shows because they don't make me think, and I like not thinking for a little bit. Anyway, this season looks to be full of drama. Adam is a tweeker and gets mad over the dumbest stuff. I wonder what he is going to be like when he is drunk, he'll really loose his temper. Mallory is fuckin hot. Leah is pretty cute and will try to get with Ace even though she won't get him. CT seems like just a regular guy. Ace is a nice southern guy, who is pretty likeable. He is my favorite 'character' of the show. Simon is a gay Irishman, and I've always wondered what a sterotypical gay Irishman sounded like. Christina will be one of those girls who dates someone out of the house and the storyline won't revolve around her much. Kind of like Brynn from Las Vegas. Your thoughts? I'm willing to see how the season unfolds...last season got so bad that I didn't watch the last few episodes and still didn't watch them when they were replayed. I only caught the last 20 minutes, but Adam eerily reminds me of Puck - Will say anything just to piss someone off, so that will probably lead to a lot of screaming. Now its like watching a fashion show. The appeal of the real world was the "real" aspect of it. They have taken that away. Granted we generally don't get to walk around the dorms that much but it just doesn't seem to click. I have nothing against model television just don't sell me something as real when its not. I think that the last one that I watched most of (and still couldn't watch all of) was Boston, and that's because I'm from there but wasn't living there - so it was cool to see my hometown. Is Road Rules still on too? Why is it still on? They are getting their best ratings yet, and the show isn't going away anytime soon. New Orleans came later, Amaya was from Hawaii. She did have big boobs, but wasn't really that pretty compared to other girls on the show. They went to New York, Chicago, then Las Vegas, and Vegas was pretty racey. It was just becuase all the people loved to party, which made sense since they were in NYC. And none of them were in NY when 9/11 happened. the New York season was going on the air while 9/11 happened. They had some scenes of New York in it, so they just kept it in there to remember New York for what it was, which I thought was good. 9/11 happened while they were taping Chicago. He is going to cause most of the major drama. I don't have much to say about the girls. All cute. Mallory's cuteness is gonna cause problems for Leah I think. CT... damn, what is it about that Boston accent? Yum. I don't even gotta look at him. I just wanna hear him talk. Ace... ::fan myself:: He is HOT! A little country accent along with that pretty face... Double yum! And the body to boot..... And so far he has a great personality. I would wanna bite that ass too, so I don't blame Leah for trying. And Simon, thank goodness he isn't flaming like Dan... not that Dan isn't amusing... So anyway, I like Simon so far. He is actually quite good looking. Steven - Or as I like to call him, "male whore". Just annoyed me from the start, basically just used Trishelle for the sex and was willing to admit it to everyone except her. 2. Lack of Brynn - Cutest girl on that show, we saw literally nothing of her after the Steven fight. I thought the anxiety attack issue and how she was dealing with it could have made a nice ongoing storyline (like Arissa trying to impove herself) but instead apparently the viewers demanded... 3. Alton/Irulan - Every episode: "We love each other". Alton hits on other girl. Irulan gets pissed. "We hate each other". Alton and Irulan argue. They have sex. "We love each other again". Got too damn repetitive. 4. Complete lack of self-control - I think I noticed this cause I'm getting older. But geez, it just irked me. Steven wants to fuck Trishelle, but doesn't want a relationship. Same with Alton. Brynn doesn't get what she wants, so she throws a fit. Just got on my nerves. Guest What? Report post Posted June 5, 2003 I liked RW: Las Vegas, mainly because: 1.) No gay guy: I'm not mocking gays at all. I have two or three good friends who are gay, it's just that when MTV gets a gay guy to be on a RW, they get a REALLY gay guy. Guys that flaunt their sexuality at every turn, and I just got turned off by that. This season made me actually like RW again. 2.) Trishelle/Steven: For some reason, their relationship made mine look normal. Plus, Trishelle is flat-out hot. 3.) Alton/Irulan: Their relationship-with the constant "I love you/I hate you" moments-reminded me a lot of my relationship. So, that gave me new ways to deal with mine. 4.) It's Vegas! Vegas is my second home, so I liked this one. Who else got so fucking tired of that one other girl bitching all the time? Not Brynn, Trishelle, or Irulan...the other one? They just throw 7 "attractive" folks into a house and they all want to have sex with each other, so naturally the ones who are not getting laid are all pissy and shit. First 3 seasons of the show were the best. Best thing about last season was Frank because he wast the most normal, level-headed guy on the entire Real World series since Dominik in season 2. The women on the Hawaii cast were flat out DOGS. Amaya may have been the only semi-decent looking one there. Ruthie varied from being okayish-at-best to downright frightening, and the other one(who's name escapes me at the moment) had no body and looked like she was 15 years older than she actually was to boot.
