It's one of those "they can't possibily fuck this up" kind of thing (kinda like Benoits return last year, or the WCW/WWF angle) ... but they do and they did. And everything you know about right and wrong and love and god is just thrown for a loop because of this huge logic gap - and the only way your brain can deal with it is to put it in the humour section.

I was watching Benoit/Angle from RR03 again, and Angle turned heel after a match with the Big Show - a match where Brock came and won the match for Kurt.

 

I can't think of any reason to have Brock vs. Big Show next week, other than to parallel this but with the Lesnar/Angle roles reversed.

Most of the bitter smark bitching, and subsequent apologist bitching is done in the spoiler thread - had Smackdown been live it probably would have gotten double the response not only because it's live, but because people have to watch it rather than read it.

I think if it's a good show based on the spoilers, then the SD threads would be longer. But since it's been sucking up a storm lately, people get their bitvhing done ahead of time in the spoiler thread and just skip SD.

The spoilers have been sucking but the shows have been pretty solid the last two weeks especially. The awesome Team Angle-Eddie/Tajiri encounters and Brock's solid matches with the FBI were almost totally ignored by the spoilers so we could get transcriptions of Vince/Hogan promos.

Unlike you guys, I'm not dying to see Serious Babyface Kurt Angle but I think the Big Show thing was stupid.

 

Plus I don't think I'm too eager to see Kurt and Donkey Kong working together if they're supposed to headline an SD PPV in July.
