Guest The Masked Yodeler Report post Posted March 27, 2002 That rant was ... different. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, and I'm glad Scott still has enough creative energy to pull off crazy shit like that. But he really no-sold the entire show (which I'm sure was the point) and I'm kinda curious as too what he though about it. Rants like that make me feel like I'm reading Scott reviewing WCW shows. And it scares me.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 27, 2002 It was a great rant. Reminds me of the old days of Heroes of Wrestling and the like.

Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted March 27, 2002 That rant was truly inspired. I can't wait to see the real one (assuming there is one, of course).
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I would have liked to have seen his response to the main event though. Did I mention that I love Gedo and think that Rock-Hogan was a ****1/2 classic? For some reason, this line cracks me up.
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I'm guessing it would've ended with Benoit leaving the WWF forever.

And it scares me. My only complaint is Scott went for the cliched "Robinette/Stone vs Kincaid/McCoy" match rather than "Stone/Kincaid vs McCoy/Carmicheal" because: 1.) Claire and Jack work best when they are fighting each other and 2.) Stone coming out of retirement and going after mega cool-heel Abby Carmicheal and beating the shit out of her is an angle that is guarenteed to draw money and boost ratings...... Guest The Masked Yodeler Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Okay, I didn't get that part. Who were those people? Was it a reference to some Canadian show?
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted March 27, 2002 They're all characters on Law and Order.
Guest Judas14 Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Okay, I didn't get that part. Who were those people? Was it a reference to some Canadian show? He was talking about the lawyers on the NBC show "Law and Order". Stone/Robinette were the original lawyers on the series when it started while Kincaid and McCoy are the lawyers that replaced Stone/Robinette when the actors were either fired (Robinette) or gone insane with his hatred of Janet Reno (Stone). Abby Carmicheal was a character on the show during the 1998-2001 season who played a tough as nails female ADA who part of the L&O fanbase hated because she didn't fit the stereotype for the females lawyers on the show (mainly she wasn't a bleeding heart liberal who's sole purpose was to whine and moan about how the male ADA was going too far.....) Guest JohnSkins Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I thought it was great Roe v Wade "being an abortion" cracked my shit up. Man v Superman 2002 MOYTC!
Guest Smues Report post Posted March 27, 2002 That rant was one of the most messed up things I've ever read. Although I did catch most of it except the Law and Order thing. I think however, that Keith should have done that rant, and then a real one.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted March 27, 2002 It was ok, it bugged me though because I was waiting all day for Scott's real oppinion on the show but whatever. Any rant that refers to Law and Order is cool with me.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I think we can read between the lines for Scott's real opinion... which is that he'd rather be forced to watch Bash 91 than relive last night's RAW, ESPECIALLY if he was in the province of Canada that saw RAW completely out of order. Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Wow did that suck. I would've liked to see his real opinion instead of this BS. Hopes he puts the real rant up on the site.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I didn't see RAW completely out of order and I'm in Alberta...lol.
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I hated it, I wanted a real opinion. Unless his real opinion was of such boredom that he just kept his comic book lust going on. A real opinion would be nice though. Only funny parts were "Roe vs Wade" and "btw, Hogan vs Rocky was ****1/2 classic"
Guest Badd Company Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Maybe I'm in the minority, but if I want comedy, I'll read my archive of Wrestlecrap or dig up ScoopThis! . I'm curious as to how Scott felt about the show, and since the Mirror Universe rant has only shown up to subscribers, here's hoping a legit one pops up soon. Guest Ripper Report post Posted March 27, 2002 First there was the 411wrestling.com recap that was some dumbass writer talking about buying a stupid shirt for the whole thing and now this. These were two of the biggest waste of times that I have ever experienced. I usually expect to read the things and get his opinon, but instead got a long, non funny running joke. Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I hated it, I wanted a real opinion. He gave you a real opinion...he thought it was crap. I can see being annoyed if you didn't see the show and were looking for a recap (in which case you go to Slash), but if you did see the show, why are you so pissed off? Does SK's opinion mean THAT much to you?

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 27, 2002 SK doesn't do recaps, he does reviews. Don't expect blow-by-blow from him.
Guest KANE Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I think he wrote that rant because maybe he got just a tad spooked by the e-mail from the kid who said he "has just become a parody of himself." So he went into total overcompensation mode. Anyway, I'd rather there be a real rant as well. The jokes about University freshmen year psychology and philosophy don't stay entertaining for long, and his "Mirror Universe" gag has been getting played out like "What?" over the past couple of weeks. Does SK's opinion mean THAT much to you? Its not that we value it so much, its more that we want another view point. Which is why alot of people come to message boards, goes to Metlzer's site, read 411 and TheSmarks. They want to see how their opinion is with or against a bunch of others. And Keith is a famous as it gets with it as opinion columns on events go. Most people rather read something more normal than something that flies over alot of people's heads.
