Guest Judas14 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 1.) Two versions of the Superfriends cartoon exists. The first couple of variations of the Superfriends cartoon were standalone cartoons that had the JLA take on villians who mainly were run of the mill monsters and alien invaders and didn't feature any of the regular DCU villians at all. Towards the end of the series run, the villians of the DC Universe were finally allowed to be made part of the Superfriends cartoon, first as the Legion of Doom in the "Challenge of the Superfriends" series and later in the Super-Friends: Super Powers Team" series. Because of this, most comic fans consider COTSF and SF:SPT series seperate from the original Super-Friends cartoons, especially given how COTSF and SF:SPT were written more for comic fans than the casual fans, which were the target audience for the pre-LOD Superfriends cartoons.... 2.) The actor who played Robinette was fired from the show along with the guy who played Captain Cragen on the orders of the network suits in charge of NBC. The suits felt L&O was too much of a guy's show and forced the show's producers to get rid of some of the guys on the show and replace them with women (in the form of Van Buren and Claire Kincaid). 3.) Michael Moriarty (the actor who played Ben Stone) doesn't like Janet Reno and her politics and has publicly bashed her in the press. It's a rather complicated story, but during the mid1990s Moriarty publicly blamed Janet Reno for nearly everything that is wrong with the world....
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Ghast.....from the Observer: --In Ontario, Raw was tape delayed and several of the segments played out of order. They aired the Angle-Van Dam match before the segment where Flair picked Van Dam. Later in the show, after the match aired, they showed the segment where Angle told Vince to make the match for the IC title so he could have the title in his camp. They showed the segment where Vince yelled at Flair about Kane interfering in the Hogan mach, before that match had been shown. Then, after the match was shown, they aired the same clip again. Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted March 28, 2002 And incidentally, it wasn't Ontario, just the Maple Leafs viewing region. They got the hockey game, while we got to watch RAW in its entirety. Not sure who got the short end of the stick there, actually.

Guest One Bad Apple Report post Posted March 28, 2002 The fuck was what? EDIT: My brother made a longish post up here (with a guest appearance by Usher, no less) and it was deleted. I'm crushed; it was a work of art. Maybe it was the system, but if someone erased it for whatever stupid reason? They can go fuck themselves. Thank you.
