Shipping is included in the prices of the tapes. They will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. Make payments on paypal to [email protected]. You can email me with any questions at [email protected] Here is the matchlisting for the comp. 1. The Impact Players vs Gedo/Jado ECW on TNN 3/10/00 (0:00-7:02) We start off the tape with a fun energetic opener featuring why ECW was so damn cool at the time. The bringing in of the sweet sweet foreigners so the fans can get a taste of something they don’t regularly get domestically. Gedo and Jado were routinely pissed on by certain members of the IWC at the time but they were all wrong. This match is pretty damn good for how short it is. 2. TLC 3 WWF tag team title match Benoit/Jericho vs The Dudley Boys vs Edge/Christian vs The Hardy Boys 5/24/01 (7:03-30:09) I don’t think I need to talk much about this match. Basically it’s the third installment of the most brutal match in WWF history. This to me is the best match of the series. 3. Chris Benoit vs Steve Austin WWF title 5/31/01 (30:09-50:53) A classic. I can not believe that more people don’t talk about this match considering how awesome it was. The finish is kind of weak but so what, the rest of the match is ***** quality. 4. Masato Tanaka vs Shinjiro Ohtani Zero-One Fire Festival match 8/9/02 (50:54-1:09:25) Tanaka brings his blood, Fighting Spirit and Rolling Elbow to the table while his tag team partner brings his Spiral Bomb and kick ass boot scrapes. One of the best matches of ’02. 5. Blitzkrieg vs Juventud Guerrera WCW Spring Stampede 4/11/99 (1:09:26-1:23:14) What the fuck happened to Blitzkrieg? After watching this match again I wonder why nobody has given this guy another shot. I hear he is an accountant and doesn’t need wrestling but come on TNA pull your shit together and bring him in for at least one match. Wait I forgot one more run for Sabu and then maybe we will get some talent in there. 6. Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada All Japan Triple Crown 1/23/99 (1:23:15-1:56:00) Watch Kawada walk down the isle trying not to let the on coming crowd touch him in any way. Watch one of Misawa’s seconds throw a huge right hand at someone in the crowd so Misawa and his bowling jacket can get to the ring. Watch the crowd as they don’t even care that Misawa’s crew might beat their ass if they get to close. That is how big this match was. Makes me wish for Shelton Benjamin to knock some fan out while Kurt is trying to walk to the ring. 7. Negro Casas/ Atlantis/ Ultimo Dragon/ El Dandy/ Mascara Magica/ Shocker/ La Fiera/ Brazo De Oro vs. El Hijo del Santo/ Dr. Wagner, Jr./ Felino/ Scorpio, Jr./ Black Warrior/ Kevin Quinn/ Satanico/ Silver King - EMLL 16 Man Cibernetico Match - 4/18/97 (1:56:01-2:44:22) I know you are thinking to yourself that you must see this match because of one man, and that man be KEVIN QUINN! I personally liked that Santo guy with the silver looking mask better in this match but you may be right about Quinn. 8. El Hijo del Santo vs Negro Casas EMLL Mask vs Hair match 9/17/97 (2:44:23-3:19:14) Santo and Casas absolutely rip it up in this match. One of my favorite matches of all time. I shit you not. 9. Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi NOAH GHC title match 3/1/03 (3:19:15-4:03:46) Kobashi has one of the coolest purple robes I have ever seen. Plus he makes it look macho. You know dude is one bad motherfucker when he can make purple look bad ass. Misawa, unfortunately, got rid of his bowling jacket for this match and has switched to a more conventional robe. I weep for the loss of the bowling jacket. Hopefully it was given to some deserving bowler after a 300 game and doesn’t just sit idly in Misawa’s closet. 10. Ric Flair vs Bret Hart WWF from Invasion 92 (4:03:47-4:25:27) This match is for the IC title and we do get some bogus BS finish but it is definitely interesting to watch. The match itself is pretty good. The big gold belt is not blurred out. Jack Tunney is pissed off somewhere about that. 11. Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels WWF from Invasion 92 (4:25:28-4:37:52) The big gold belt gets the blurry treatment hear at every opportunity. So much so its comical. The match itself is a tantalizing apatizer at what could have been between Flair and Michaels. Michaels appears to get hurt during the match and we get a very odd finish because of it. Marty makes a cameo as well. 12. Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit WCW Owen Memorial 10/4/99 (4:37:53-5:08:07) If you haven’t seen this match you should. It’s the best pure wrestling match of the nineties. This is the match that Hart should have retired on. 13. Ric Flair Promo WCW Last Nitro 3/26/01 (5:08:08-5:15:35) Ric Flair was literally pointing out ways to Vince McMahon at how to make money with the invasion angle during this promo. Flair, the embodiment of WCW, practically called out McMahon and made him sound like an egomaniacal bitch. Vince of course completely ignored this promo and flushed a ton of money down the toilet. 14. Paul Heyman promo WWF Smackdown! 11/15/01 (5:15:36-5:27:06) When I hear this now it sounds like the internet talking to Vince McMahon through Paul Heyman. The ending of the promo is inexplicable as once again Vince decided not to put any heat on wrestlers who dared to get over outside of the WWF. Imagine if this promo ended with Tazz choking out McMahon and a new path of rage was born for the alliance. That would have been a lot more fun that what did happen. 15. Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka ECW World Title match (on TNN) 12/24/99 (5:27:07-5:41:49) If I was Tanaka I’d sit in the front row of every major companies wrestling show and wait to have somebody thrown at me. I’d have won all the major titles in no time. 16. Stone Cold Steve Austin/The Rock promo WWF (margaritaville) (5:41:50-5:57:01) This promo cracks me up. One of the most enjoyable fluff segments of pro wrestling ever. 17. Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart WWF IC ladder match (5:57:02-6:15:00) The first ladder match ever in the WWF. Shawn bumps nicely and Brett brings his usually good effort for a nice match. 18. Bret Hart vs Ric Flair WWF title match 10/12/92 (6:15:01-6:49:10) Bret’s first title victory in his hometown. This is just really fun to watch. Especially when the crowd freaks out at the end since they were not expecting the title to change hands at all. 19. Bret Hart vs Owen Hart WWF title Cage match 8/29/94 (6:49:11-7:44:29) Whenever I see a cage match today I want to see the blue cage because of this match. Bret and Owen build the drama masterfully hear as the crowd is literally freaking out at the end of the match since each man has had an increasingly tougher time of stopping the other man from getting out of the cage. The finish is great as is the post match beating. I love everything about this match. Um yeah I’m a Hart mark. 20. Ric Flair vs Sting WCW Last Nitro 3/26/01 (7:44:30-7:55:00) I thought this would be a nice way to end this tape. Two legends of WCW turn out the lights with a match that was more fun than good but that really didn’t matter here. The fun of watching these two go at it one last time in a WCW ring was a great way for Nitro to end.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted June 5, 2003 Heh, so this was the comp you were talkin about huh? Sounds pretty solid, especially that hair v. hair match from 97......I've heard nothing but good things about it. Might as well mention to you that your tapes are off tomorrow as well. Guest Burning Hammer Report post Posted June 5, 2003 Yeah this thing took me a lot of work to put together. It was fun though getting to dig through a lot of my old wrestling tapes and watch some stuff I hadn't seen in a long time. Your tapes will be going out tomorrow as well.
