Guest Daddy X Report post Posted June 4, 2003 Next year, I'll be going off the college but I'm also planning early. Wrestling training is something I'm considering starting this year, however I'm worried that when i go to college I will have nowhere to wrestle and further my training. Does anyone know any Indy promotions and Wrestling Schools in Upstate New York? I'm specificially looking towards the surrounding area of Syracuse where I will more than likely be going to school. Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted June 5, 2003 I can sympathize with your dilema. I live upstate and i'm interested in pursuing a career in pro wrestling. The closest wrestling school that I can think of that could be considered top quality would be Kowalski's school in Maiden, Mass. You can learn from the man who trained the IWC's favorite wrestler, 6 time WWF/E world heavyweight champion, Triple H. Their rates don't really seem impossible at $3000 for unlimited training. For more info: Killer Kowalski's Wrestling School If you live near Schenectady, TNT wrestling off of State Street runs semi-regular shows. You could check it out and ask a few of the guys where they trained. Good luck with your search, maybe someday i'll be grinding a cheese grater across your head. Edit: Must've missed that you live near Syracuse. In that case, Ron Hutchinson's school in Toronto might be closer. Supposedly, it's a really good school as well. Edge, Christian, and Trish Stratus trained there. Ron Hutchinson's school
