Wwf cruiserweight title tournament

This tournament came about because X Pac was angry that Tajiri was the champion even though he was still the Lightheavyweight Champion. The WWF held a unification match that went to a draw. So now we have an 8 man Round Robin tournament for the Undisputed WWF Cruiserweight title. The point system goes as follows. 3 points for a pin or submission, 2 points for a count out or a DQ, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.

 

The participants are

 

1. Billy Kidman, 2. X Pac, 3. Tajiri, 4. Jeff Hardy, 5. The Hurricane, 6. Matt Hardy, 7. Scotty Too Hotty, and 8. Funaki.

 

First Round.

 

Billy Kidman VS X Pac

 

Kidman hits Shooting Star press but Hall distracts the ref and Nash Powerbombs Kidman. Puts X Pac on top. Kane's music hits and while X Pac is distracted Kidman rolls him up for a 3 count.

 

Tajiri VS Jeff Hardy

 

Tajiri weakens him with kicks and as he goes for his big one, Jeff ducks and hits a brainbuster, he goes for the swanton bomb and misses and Tajiri finishes him off with a kick to the face

 

Hurriane VS Matt Hardy

 

Mighty Molly and Lita get involved and both a DQ'd, afterwards Molly beats up Hurricane

 

Scotty Too Hotty VS Funaki

 

Scotty wins it with the W. O. R. M.

Tajiri mists Kidman as he goes for the SSP and kicks him in the face to win.

nWo interference helps X Pac hit an X Factor for the win.

 

Hurricane VS Scotty Too Hotty

 

Molly crotches Hurriane on the top rope getting Scotty DQ'd, Albert gives her the Baldo Bomb afterwards

 

Matt Hardy VS Funaki

 

Matt pins Funaki with the Twist of Fate

Kane takes out nWo in the back and when ref goes down Kane chokeslams X Pac and puts Funaki on top for a pin

Molly tries to cost Hurricane the match but he green mists her, Hurricane hits Eye of the Hurricane for the win.

 

Scotty VS Jeff Hardy  

 

Jeff wins with a Swanton bomb
