Guest Deebo Report post Posted June 6, 2003 My friend said he saw a commercial after the MTV awards advertising new Tom Green show episodes starting June 27th. Is it true?

Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted June 6, 2003 i cant wait for him to rub his bum on his guests and unsuspecting people!! ::rolls eyes:: seriously he can be fun (stuff with the parents is brilliant) but can also be really stupid
Guest two_tuff_toddy Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Tom Green rules. I'm all about him having his own talk show. At least you know it won't be boring ass interviews like most talk shows. Conan O'brien excluded.

Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I think after Freddy Got Fingered Green lost most of his fan base. At the Blockbuster where I worked it was pretty much voted the one of the worst movies out. I think he's trying to move on from his life after the divorce. But then again I don't think he's that talented to succeed.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted June 7, 2003 It wont last.

Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted June 7, 2003 All I know is is that this "talk show" will not be the same as his talk show segments on his old show. Fame has ruined his shtick, the guy will tell you that himself. What he used to do was, he'd book these old people as guests on his show, and they'd have no idea who he was or what his show was about. They simply expected a David Letterman type of show where they can promote whatever they were promoting. Then what Tom would do, he'd totally catch these guests by surprise by leaning over to lick their forhead or suddenly holding a skate session with Phil Giroux right as the guests were rambling about something. He can't do that shit anymore because everyone knows who he is and what his show is about. What, is he going to try that shit on the celebrities that come on his show? Good luck booking guests after that. He can't do the man-on-the-street segments either for the same reason. Those were his best shticks. Now he can't do them anymore unless he travels to a place where he's not recognized, like Japan. Fans are going to tune in to this talk show looking for the old Tom Green Show, but they won't find it. Shit, but I really hope Glenn is back to co-host, and Phil in the window. I think Rotten Tomatoes.com listed it as one of their worst movies.
Guest two_tuff_toddy Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I liked Freddy Got Fingered but I guess I just find sick, perverted, and really stupid things very ammusing.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I hated that movie. I couldnt stand it. The only part where I laughed was where that guy broke his leg on the ramp.
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I've never laughed at any movie more than I laughed at that one. I think Tom Green is a friggin genius. A lot of his stuff reminds me of Andy Kaufman. Stuff like when he did that 2 minute porage skit. It was just him, eating a big bowl of porage for two minutes. I could easily see Kaufman doing that kind of thing. I never met anybody else that thought that was funny, much like most of Kaufman's stuff.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I hate the frigging frignut for ruining the name "Tom Green". I hate having to go by "Thomas", but the guy made it necessary, since I'm ashamed to have to go by the name now.
Guest Memoirs of an Invisible Chevy Report post Posted June 7, 2003 He's fairly funny. I'd watch it.

I like Tom Green a lot but to compare him to Andy Kaufman seems a little rediculous. Kaufman is easily one of the 3 funniest people to ever live.
Guest Karnage Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Tom Green rules. I think his new show could be good, but it can't top his Comedy Network-era episodes.

There's also a Tom Green that's famous for having like, 9 wives if it's any help.

Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted June 9, 2003 Freddy Got Fingered is just...dull. It tries to be some big gross out/shock fest film and succeeds in being really boring. One of the few times I've actually just turned a movie off because if I didn't, I was gonna slip into a coma. But hey! Tom Green is a genius man! Remember when he said "Tubing" about 40 times repeatedly? Brilliant. Please everyone, do not confuse lack of talent with misunderstood genius.
