Guest Redhawk Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 While Goldberg, Nash, and Kane certainly have limited movesets, I wouldn't call them vanilla. Each one of them does something that's almost exclusivly their move and stands out for them. Goldberg, for example, has two killer-looking moves in the jackhammer and spear, which is the best-looking one in the business aside from maybe Rhyno's. Nash has the powerbomb which is unique to him. In fact, all of Nash's moves are kind of unique in a way, because we can all point them out and see them coming a mile away and say "That was a Kevin Nash move." Same with Kane. Vanilla is someone like Maven, who just doesn't do anything that stands out. Every move they do is something that everyone else does; bodyslam, suplex, dropkick, arm wrench, sleeper, etc. Who's the most vanilla cruiserweight? I'd say Billy Kidman off the top of my head.

People who can't seem to put together anything elaborate but looks pretty basic aside the Punch kick affair. Batistia He has a great Hoss look like he is about to RAM His head into a Brick wall, and is about to do it (A paraphrase Quote about Grant) Randy Orton intially seems pretty basic with only a handful of unique moves La Resistance isn't thrilllin me. Are they saying a French Tag team threatening to take the tag titles can't seem to put together any Hold? Test, He wrestles fine I guess, he does some High profile moves, but after losing for a full year or two it doesn't seem to matter what they do. Test should just lay down during matches save us the wear and tear.

A-Train has shown a few inventive power moves in the past, and Christian used to be quite inventive, with the reverse-tornado DDT and the unprettier reversal sequences. And he's a fine bump machine also. Palumbo has never impressed me, ever. The FBI currently seem to be working around the basis they know one move each, (press-slam, superkick, single arm DDT) which doesn't make for great wrestling.
