Monday is going to be interesting. Since it seems like there was no trades on Smackdown. Unless there were, but the WWF is going to put that in later, so the net doesn't know.

They are differentiating the product now. If all the belts are split, the shows will be the same. You have to watch Raw to see hardcore matches and you have to watch Smackdown to see cruiserweight matches the way it is now. Plus, they will be able to build up the titles much more this way. There aren't enough cruisers to split up that division between 2 shows. To the person who said Jericho vs Lita at Backlash, that can't happen. Jericho is on Smackdown and the Hardyz and Lita are on Raw:)

 

That's what we are saying.  Keep them apart.  Also, the Euro/IC title should be one that everybody on their respective show should want, since it is their championship.  I would keep the IC on RVD (despite how much I hate him, he's the right person to have it on business wise), and give the Euro to Chris Jericho, who needs it after the failed title run.

 

The tag team should be floating because half of the tag division is on RAW, and there aren't enough teams to have two sets of tag titles.

I am glad to see that Raven won his 12th Hardcore belt, but I hate the fact that they stick wrestlers who I like in Booker T, RVD, Lesnar, and a possibly pushed Raven with a roster that sucks.  Ah well, maybe the flock will return, and a few other guys who I sort of like in Crash, Dreamer, Molly, and Richards will get pushed, but there is no way I will ever get into the NWO or the Undertaker.  Why is the NWO even on Raw anyway?  It seems dumb to give up on a feud like Hogan and Rock vs. the NWO for NWO vs. Kane.  Then again, what do I know?

Bubba & Bradshaw are there as well.  Smackdown has Billy & Chuck, the Zoo Crew, Faarooq & D'Von.  Even Tazz & Spike got split up.

Just because a guy works with a midcarder for one show, does that make him a midcarder? Like when HHH worked with Taka, did that make him a midcarder? THat just means he beat a midcard guy, not that he is one himself, b/c he is really part of the top 2 heels on Smackdown with Angle.

He's main evented some PPVs and been involved in several top storylines. There's as good a chance as any he will be a main eventer on Smackdown.

Again, on Smackdown it will probably be a top 3 feud.

The Hardys arn't even on the same show, the bookers were probably just looking for a way to fill time.

 

Your definition of main eventer and what's not one would imply that the only real main eventers are Rock, Austin, HHH, and Hogan.

Benoit has been near or at the top of the card ever since he arrived in the WWF.  With the reduced roster, he will most certainly be a Main Eventer after he returns.  Angle & Jericho have to main event pretty much, since they are the only big name heels on Smackdown.  I would classify Benoit as a main eventer right now, because he was a main eventer when he left.

No, I don't want that.  Only 4 people would be on both shows.  The WWF Champ, the Women's Champ, and the Tag Champs.  That's it.  As is, there is no tag division on Smackdown.  Billy & Chuck will be defending against Scotty & Albert every week.  Meanwhile, what are the Hardys supposed to be striving for if there are no titles for them to win?

HHH is fighting Taker at the PPV.  Hogan & Rock will finish their issue with the NWO there most likely, and Angle will clobber Edge once and for all.

I don't think a guy has to main event every PPV to be getting a push. Angle just needs to stay in the upper midcard/main event level. If he falls any lower than that, then he's being depushed. The writers just don't know what to do with him. Plus, they spend most of their time thinking of things for HHH to do. I say stick him in a feud with Ric Flair.

Right now.  On March 27 12:59a.m. (EST)  They are in the midcard.

 

Have they Main Evented?  Yes.

My opinion was simply that the odds are against Angle, Jericho and Benoit (but...especially Jericho) holding the undisputed title in the near future...and a singles belt (in this case either the IC or European) should be there for anyone NOT holding the big title, to compete for.

 

It's an extremely simple and effective way of elavating the belts.

I see that as one of the flaws of the draft, though.

 

Too many people on Smackdown that should be getting airtime at the top.

 

Now look at Raw.

 

Taker, Kane and the NWO getting top airtime?  Ugh.

 

I in fact, like Raw better....because like it or not...RVD is the top face on the show.  Kane is over, and will be pushed as a top guy...but the fact that there aren't so many big name guys above him, RVD should be in line for a push.  Booker too...and that can't be all bad.

Doe anyone else find it interesting that since Hogan and the NWO came in Kane and Undertaker are getting bigger pushes. Don't be shocked if Big Show or Rakishi are fighting with or against the NWO.
